Even though I never watched 'Happy Days', nobody around at that time was unaware of 'The Fonz Is Cool' slogan! There were T-shirts and badges, and people mimicking him, so I took it quite for granted that he was tall, dark... well you know the rest!
He will have achieved his heart-throb status through his acting. As for 'Night Shift', wasn't that a Stephen King film? If so, there's a 95% chance that I have it, so I'll check out my pile. My Stephen King films are all neatly stacked together, which is a good deal more than can be said for the majority of my films! 🙄

I KNOW the answer to this question because, "today" I just saw the Fonzie statue in Milwaukee. I am practically the same height at the statue, 5'5".

I like honesty. Hustling is real. I got an Amex Platinum Card but drive a '79 Mustang with 211K on it. I got $11 in my savings account but snap of the finger huge $ with 1 Japanese buyer of what I have in storage units. I'm extreme in each direction poor/rich. sf- by the way i did see that episode of happy days. It was Richie that said he was 5'9 not the Fonz. Henry winkler in real life is a modest guy and a smart one at that too. I heard he got a masters at yale. He even said himself he was a bit on the short side around 5'6. He does look a few inches shorter than sandler on waterboy so i say 5'6 to 5'6 1/2 is right. Still , one of the coolest guys in my book even if he is only 5'6 1/2

I was standing about 5-6 feet away from Henry Winkler on the set of Monte, a very short lived tv series back in the early 1990s. I am 5'10. Id say he was easily 3.5 inches shorter than me. So i would put him at around 5'6 1/2 tall.
