The original Martin Fowler. I seem to remember him listed here at 6ft2 years back and has also been given 6ft3 in places. Somewhere between those seems possible like this guy...

Six foot two and a quarter is VERY tall in a soap opera. I'd have expected more than six three when I first saw him.

I think I'll go with the average of six two and three quarters for James. 😁

After last night's hour-long EastEnders, which took a trip back to the goings-on of Christmas Day, I'm in no doubt that the EastEnders Christmas storyline was by far and away the best of the three Soaps that I watch.

James's character, Martin, showed that he was a true man, unable to kill Keanu, and hatching a plan with the gutsy little Linda Carter how he should make his getaway, after having to shoot him for effects and 'staging' it so that there was evidence on the phone! Wonderful stuff, well acted, and SO exciting, with funny moments thrown in:- 10/10! 🥇🏆😁👍

I've just seen Christmas Day EastEnders. It was frightful, especially for Mar'in, who had to bump off Keanu Tyler or suffer the consequences of crossing the Mitchells. What was he tearfully burning at the end? Clothes or the body? What a terrible Christmas Day for him, which will colour all his future Christmases.

As he went into the Queen Vic before all this moroseness, he looked EVER so tall. I thought he could have been six foot three at that particular time of day, so I am going to give him just that.

Six foot three, a cup of cocoa 🍵, and a couple of tranquillisers 💊💊. The poor boy needs them!

He looks very tall next to them women, but doesn't ever look that much taller than the regular 6 footers. I'd say he's around 6'1.5-6'1.75

@Nik I'm not surprised, considering fractions as insignificant as a 1/4 aren't usually listed. If I were listing him I'd put him at 6'2 as a rounded figure, although 6'2.5 isn't unreasonable either considering he can certainly measure it. A half is usually more common to use.

Ha! He's still a baby in the 'Classic EastEnders' episodes! Who'd have ever expected to see James grow to 6ft2 and a slither?

There was another actor who played Martin Fowler originally, and I reckon the other James, James Alexandrou, could have possibly been a touch taller.

Considering the faux pas I've witnessed over the years, the two Jameses playing Mark Fowlers takes quite some beating!

Yeah has to be a decent 6ft2 range at least. Wouldn’t have doubted 6ft3. Stands out as one of the tallest on EE
