American basketball player, who has played as a Guard for The Philadelphia 76ers and Miami Heat. In the Chicago Tribune he said “First of all, I’m 6-7 ¾ — don’t ever forget that. I mean, however tall [Thomas] is, he’s been that height for a long time now, so he’s mastered it ... 5-8, 6-8, whatever he is, the guy knows how to put the ball in the basket. You’ve got to guard whoever, whether they’re 5-8 or 6-8. Or 6-7 ¾.”
He did measure that height, earlier in the day at the combine in sneakers. Without footwear though, he came in around 6ft 6.

Jimmy is not less than 6'5.5 by game time, but he definitely wakes up at around or over 6'6. I wonder if people realize that you lose more than 1.5 cm throughout the day, especially if you're taller (Jimmy is in the 196.5-198.5 range, making 197 a very reasonable afternoon listing). I agree; he is due for a downgrade, but the listing as is could also be fine - since it's an average of that range.

Granted, Li-Ning shoes don't look like they add more than an inch, but that still puts him around 6'6.5, which is being rounded up to 6'7. The way I see it, if LeBron is around 6'7.5 and listed at 6'9, then it's fair that Jimmy is listed at 6'7 when he is really 6'5.5

Butler could be the case of someone like Aaron Rodgers or Nick Foles as they both measured 6’2 and 6’5 at the combine but measured 6’1 5/8 and 6’4 5/8 at Pro Day or Senior Bowl and those were already morning measurements. It wouldn’t surprise me if Rodgers is your size or a even a hair shorter seeing him with Favre and Foles my size being he looks distinctly shorter than Carson Wentz who is likely a strong 6’5 who doesn’t dip below that mark unless extreme low territory. Wentz was 6’5.25 at the senior bowl and the combine. Wouldn’t surprise me if he didn’t measure again and they used the same number. Wentz looks a bit tall to be under 6’5 flat unless it’s maybe 6’4 7/8 although I see 6’5 flat being he looks distinctly taller than Foles and I don’t see Foles below 6’4 range but the others too short to be 6’2 or 6’5

I wear a custom orthotic now but they only give me 1/8” net being i remove the original insole from the shoe before I place it in. Thus you’re taking away 1/8” and adding 1/4” for the one I have leaving you with 1/8” more.

So a guy like you if they brought you in when you just start out of bed within an hour may get 6’3.5 and get a boost to 3/4”. Then you would get 6’4”. But then again you may end up like Lebron. @Rob: his pre draft measurement in shoes is where the 6’7 3/4 came from. That’s a morning measurement and is likely inflated if he only measures 6’6”. Either way morning 6’6” would net a best case 6’5.5 barefoot. He really can look what you said though 6’5-6’5.5. He looked at least 1.5” shorter than Scottie Pippen and looks 196-196.5 normally

@Rob: that claim was his in shoes at the combine. Likelier that he is 6’5.5 tops and near 6’7 in shoes. I really see 6’5 or 6’5.25 near Pippen or Ben Simmons

@Rob: this is too high for him next to Pippen. That’s more than just 3cm difference. Given the fact the 6’6” is his combine listing (assuming he was even a full 6’6 or 6’5 7/8 and not something like 6’5.75 then), he probably should get a 6’5.5 listing to start

6’5.25 is my guess. I watched a Sixers game and after Butler hit a shot, he walked right past 6’6” Tobias Harris (6’6.5 pre draft) and looked 1/2-1” shorter. I honestly believe that Butler is at best 6’5.5 but more often I would say 6’5.25 is how he looks. Next to Embiid and Simmons, he doesn’t look over 6’5”. 6’5.5 is possible if he “supposedly” measured right at 6’6” but 6’5.25 is equally. He’s definitely not 6’5.75 going of the site’s standards or else we would see less difference between he and his teammates.

If Neymar is listed at 5'8, let me look at this picture, if Jimmy stood as straight as he could I would assume Neymar maintaining his posture would come up to Butlers stubble(the facial hair a bit below his lip). Assuming his head is 9.5 inches, the lower part of his stubble is about 1 inch from his chin, this height difference looks to be around 8.5 inches. I got Jimmy Butler in this picture looking 6'4.5 to 6'5, idk it could just be a bad picture.

Here we have a rather handsome young scamp, and that he's very tall is just by-the-way! He's certainly in the right job for someone of that height!
There's a kind of modesty about him, which I thoroughly like; it's as though he has no idea how attractive he is because he is totally devoted to his career and the welfare of his mates and fans.
That was my first impression of him, anyway - and not a bad one, if I do say so myself!
I will go along with 6ft5.75. When a fellow gets to THAT sort of height, and I meet him, I feel dizzy looking up before I have even arrived at any conclusions as to his highhhhhhht! I had a hairdresser of 6ft7, and had to sit down before I could properly converse with him or I'd have keeled over! He was a lovely chap with long, brown, rock star-like hair and very attentive and good at his job. I went to see him the night I saw 'Swan Lake' at the Churchill Theatre, Bromley. It was a Birthday treat from my boyfriend, but not a patch on 'Black Swan', which is what had re-aroused my interest in ballet, which I had to give up at 11 'to concentrate on my homework'. Pah! If only I'd had a mind of my own back then! Youngsters - if you have a dream - chase after it like Jimmy here and so many celebrities on this site. Don't let anyone do your thinking for you! 😁👍
