Nash said something along the lines of he was 6’11.25” way back in the day, and 6’9.5” after his wrestling career ended. He said this on the Steve Austin podcast a couple of years ago.

To be fair about Malone being listed at 6'7" in high school... I was listed at 6-2 my senior year of high school on a sports roster, because I wrote down that I was 6'2.5" - which was the most recent height I'd been measured - although not too long after that I found out I was really 6'3". They just threw away the fraction on my slightly too low 6'2.5" claim.
To be fair about Malone being listed at 6'7" in high school... A lot of variables when looking at Nash height he definitely could seem like he was 6 10 and a half to 6 11 just don't see him being under 6 10 at any point during his Peak. Definitely need to look at shoes in all pics however he looked over 6 10 next to Kareem.

Rob, just a simple question to you. I hope you answer this. In the current pic you are a head shorter than Kevin Nash. In the 1990s, a peak 5 foot 10.5ish Shawn Michaels was nearly a foot shorter than Nash.... Isn't it proof enough that Nash was a solid 6 foot 10er. Not that I have a problem with 6 foot 9.5 as his peak height except for the fact that there is so much photographic evidence that he was slightly over 6 foot 10 rather than under it.
I am sorry to say this, I feel that the biggest reason people love your site is your credibility and the research you do. But i am afraid you haven't done much in this scenario. A simple glance at pictures of Kevin Nash and Scott Hall during their WWF and WCW years would have shown you enough proof to see that he was clearly 6 foot 10 or slightly over. 1) He was five inches or more taller than a peak 6 foot 5 Hall. 2) He was almost a head taller than the 5 foot 10.5ish Shawn Michaels and 3) He was definitely not very shorter (2 inches or less) than Big Show.
And also, do you really think his surgeries reduced only 0.5 inch from his height???? Really, I am sure he was around 50 years old when you took this photo and even Rock, Dwayne Johnson, in his late 40s has lost around an inch.... Request you to check his peak height once more as I definitely feel that a peak Nash was definitely 6 foot 10 or above. If not, I am afraid you have to downgrade the peak heights of Hulk Hogan, Scott Hall, Shawn Michaels and every other wrestler who seemed to be very shorter than him.

Editor RobI know many would estimate Nash as being 6ft 10 range peak, it's not out of the question entirely though I think personally he might not have quite hit the mark.

Rob, I was surfing through celebheights and came across Amazon Eve. She is a legitimate 6'7 3/8" and doesn't look that much shorter than Nash in her picture with you vs you and Nash picture. In person did Nash really seem almost 2" taller?

Then ran into him in my hotel in Denver, and the guy was absolutely enormous..
I have a friend that is 202cm ( pro basket player in Europe ) and I can tell you there is ZERO chance Nash was whithin 2cm range of my friend. I'd estimate the minimum for the difference as being 5cm, and back then he looked 30cm taller than I did on the pics..
And one of my dad's friend, who was the president of Tennessee University back then , knew him and told me his name was Kevin Nash (only knew him as Diesel back then, and internet hadn't arrived in Europe's homes ) , and he had been measured at 6'11 ( I suppose classic BBall shoe measurement ) at Tennessee BBall..

6'8 without boots or shoes is all the taller you can be to join the U.S Military, Nash would've had to been that height & not any taller to even join, back in the early 1980s. But then maybe he grew to 6'9 or so before he got done with the Military.

Editor Rob Roach explained his own claim pretty well, Robbins also did go back up to 6ft 5, so it's quite possible he was giving a lowest figure, the old 'standing not quite tall' measurement.

I might be wrong for lowest estimate 6'7.5" but 6'8.5-6'8.75" is big chance. I found a picture he stand next to 6'4.75" Joe Manganiello and Nash had 0.5" less footwear look about full 3.25" top on Joe. 204.5-205cm a shout but 6'9 now in the morning i may not hesitate to say No.

I would guess that Peak height Kane was 6'8 or 6'8.25 + 2 inch lifts = around 6'10. Nash was 6'9.25, with boots around 6'9.75. Maybe that's why Kane always measured up to Show better than Nash.

I would guess that Peak height Kane was 6'8 or 6'8.25 + 2 inch lifts = around 6'10. Nash was 6'9.25, with boots around 6'9.75. Maybe that's why Kane always measured up to Show better than Nash.

I just can't see Nash ever having been more than 6'9" if Tyler Mane was 6'8". When they teamed, they were pretty much the same height. Nash was definitely no more than an inch taller. I would say Nash was 6'9" prime and maybe 6'8.5" now. I used to think he could have been 6'10" though.

Bodybuilders are notorious for losing height after their physique fades, and Warrior is a victim of the spine boosting that having thick lats and thick traps does to both your neck and mid back. Same with Arnold Schwarzenegger. he used to be a legit 6'1 5/8" as measured by the guiness book of records in 1974, and today he's like 5'11.5"

straightahead, my wife works with DDP, ive hung out with him many times, he's a legit 6'4", or at least 'was'.. he might be as low as 6'3.5" today walking around, BUT after he does a session of DDP Yoga and stretches out his spine, he is easily back up to 6'4" . Talking about a fight a tall guy will have advantage if they are well built like Nash as well as a short guy who is well built because he has low center of gravity and some other factors , I'm 100% sure Bruce Lee at 5'7 and 130 lbs would easily defeat Kevin nash even a peak Nash becoz of skill

rob in regards to Giorgi comment I think it's a frustrating fact that much taller guys have the upper hand against shorter men in terms of physique just for the fact that there 'taller". You can be 5'8 and over 200 lbs and still lose a fight to a guy like Kevin Nash because of his height advantage.
