Pat Roach's Height
6ft 4 ½ (194.3 cm)
British Actor and Wrestler, best remembered for appearing in Auf Wiedersehen, Pet and Raiders of the Lost Ark. On his acting resume he was listed "Height: 6'6, Chest: 51""
, however he revealed his true height was 6ft 4.5.
My gimmick is that I'm 6ft 5 or 6ft 6 inches tall, I'm 19 or 20 stone...
Today big men are plentiful, because what's happening now is that people are taking all sorts of drugs. But natural big men used to be a rarity. I was a giant at...well, I've only ever been 6ft 4 and a half inches in my life, but the truth is we all tell lies about our height. I never have, funnily enough, not because I'm honest, but because other people have done it for me. Some people wouldn't have me anything less than 6ft 6.

He’s a little bit above Goldust in a scene from 2006. How all would you say Goldust is Rob
Golddust claimed 6ft 5, although I think 6ft 4 range

Having not been on Pat's page for some one-and-a-half years, it's only just hit be that the big guy is no longer with us. I was sidetracked by a funny comment.
What a terrible shame that he passed before his time, dying from cancer of the esophagus, aged 67. 😢 I know it to be a dreadful illness having been acquainted with someone who had it.
RIP Pat Roach XXX 🕯️

He definitely weighed more than 260lbs in later years....closer to 290lbs

I had no idea that Pat was a wrestler, but at that size, it makes total sense!
I agree with 6ft4.5.
@ Mincer - I just caught your comment! Very funny, and VERY naughty!

I added a quote from Roach, I think his claim as he says was honest. He probably lost a bit by 40's and 50's.

Always wondered what the scar (deformation?) on his upper arm was.

Saw Pat in the street outside Digbeth Coach Station in the early 1980's. I think this was close to the Gym he owned at that time. He was a big unit. A big chap. I would say around 6ft 5" minimum. I am a good 5'10/11 but Pat was half a head taller (at least) and very well made. Barrel chested and large. He was also in trainers of the flat variety at the time I saw him.

What would you guess his weight rob?
Editor Rob: James it probably varied, but 240-60 range is probable.

Rob perhaps add this quote?
"In his prime the red-bearded Roach was six foot four inches tall with a 51-inch chest, and weighed nearly 20 stone.19 Jul 2004"
Editor Rob: it does cover vital stats!

He looked gigantic in Raiders....people don't quite understand how big a legit 6ft4+ guy is

Pat had a clear 2 inches on Jimmy Nail in Auf Wiedersehen, Pet and looked a lot taller than the 6'4" James Booth who appeared in the 2nd series. Maybe Booth was down to 6'3" then, but Pat looked a strong 6'5"

I can buy 6 ft 5 for this guy. He dwarfed the 6 ft 0-1/2 inch Harrison Ford in Raiders.

Rob, was he downgraded half an inch?...also, you should add Raiders of the Lost Ark to the top!

I would say he is a definite 6'5 and what an awesome man.

Met him three times, and he totally dwarfed me at 5'8. Much bigger and broader than he looked on screen, his arms were as thick as my legs!

hmm i heard as high as weak 6'6 but i'd say weak 6'5 is more accurate. probably weak 6'6 in wrestling boots and in his villian boots in "Never say Never again" (1983).
