Hi @Nik. The pic I posted is from the 4th of January of 2003!! It was the final of the 2003 Hopman Cup. Hewitt was 21 years and 11 months old. He was just one month shy of 22. And in the picture he looks noticieable shorter than Serena, almost 5' 8". Maybe it was a bad posture I don't know. But given that it is extremelly unlikely that he was still growing at age almost 22, I would say he is no more than 5' 9" flat. Anything over 5' 9" is too optimistic for him, in my humble opinion.

Hewitt is even shorter than 5' 9" Serena Williams:

Lleyton Hewitt is such a height liar. To lie about your height adding yourself 7 cm (like Hewitt does claiming to be 1.81) is both immoral and ridiculous, as it is highly noticieable.
Hewitt is 1.74 flat next to 1.84 Nadal
Rob, I think you could consider the possibility od downgrading Hewitt to 1.74, or 1.75 if 1.74 looks too radical to you.

Yes a 176-177 guy claming 180 or 5'11 funny. Good listing always thought he was a 176 ish guy

Maybe slightly exaggerating, however modern tennis players can be very tall. Many seem 6'4'' plus. He may have looked smaller in comparison to some of these players than he actually was.

Slightly above average at best, based on what i've seen of him compared to other players over the years. 5'10 max.

I believe him to be a bit shorter than this listing, though not by much.

He may have claimed tennis shoe height, hence the extra 1.5 inches?
earlier in the day in tennis. Shoes maybe he did get measured that tall

It's very interesting to find out his height, thanks Rob!
I think it was interesting seeing what he claimed, because he looked shorter than say someone like Agassi, who claimed under 5ft 11...yet he claims a bit over it.

Tennis bores me rigid, so I'm not going to rate the players either, especially when they try to add a cheeky one-and-a-half inches to their height!
