He does look near 7 ft 2 I think. He's at that height where when you see when near 7 ft 2 is on the wall it's baffling how somebody could physically be that big barefoot. It starts to get freaky around the 7 ft mark I think. 6'11 still looks just about within normal range but near 2 inches above 7 ft is extraordinary!

Well i emailed Olivier and asked him what his morning height is. He claims that he was measured at the doctor 220 cm in the morning and shrinks to 218 cm. I can believe that he shrinks a bit more to 217cm but not any lower than that.
So going from 7'2.5" to 7'1.5" is my guess roughly.
I'd say it's even longer than that....more like 7ft3 or a touch over first thing down to 7ft1½-7ft1¾ range at bedtime

Olivier has said he stopped growing at 19, so he was 7'2 at that time. I doubt he is under 19 there with Show? I remember too that Olivier said Show was wearing his wrestling boots when they met. Means Show has an inch advantage on footwear there, compared to Olivier, who is probably wearing an inch sneakers. It's a bit weird though they appear about the same height. Yes, Big show looks very close to his size, but in reality Big Show had special shoes on that made him about 5cm taller. On top of that this is a really really early picture from when Olivier was possibly not even fully grown yet. I know this from a bodybuilder forum and from what I remember it was probably made around 2008 or so. I have a lot of respect for both of them and I hope they can both confirm this in a couple of decades.

dont know whyt people guess him on average 217 cm when guiness world record have him at legit 218. I think they know what they are doing. But at the same time he is probably closer to 217 if we are going by the way we see height. Morning height take the average up a bit.

Ironic that he and Kareem measured almost the same. Tough to say who was taller but I would go with Kareem being this guy’s is an average whereas Kareem’s is probably near a low. I can’t see peak Kareem under 7’1 3/4” afternoon height

I did think he really did look about 7 ft 2. 8 inches taller than his father and his mother normal tall range. His height is extremely rare, and rarer still for a guy his height to look both healthy and buff. If he can act and has the patience he could have a very good action film career. He's one of the rare cases where I'd say 340 lbs is actually a good weight for his height.

Considering Richters is heavily favored by camera angle there, my guess is he is no more than an inch taller than Suotamo. 6'11.5 seems too low for Richters, i know, but on the other hand, Suotamo claims 6'11.5, which would make Richters 7ft.05in. Maybe 7'1, if he is 1.5in taller than Suotamo. One thing which is sure, Richters is not 3in taller than Suotamo, like Rob lists them currently. No way.

The issue with the photo's of Olivier with BigShow are both camera distance and spacing. Olivier has been asked, quite a few times, why he didn't look taller than BigShow in those pictures, and he replied with (paraphrased) "Because he was closer to the camera and had his wrestling boots on at the time".
By now everyone here knows Pro-wrestlers boots add quite a bit, and getting a bodyspace closer to the camera makes a huge difference. Even things like tilting one's head back can give the perception of more height.
I asked Olivier on his old IG, before he deleted it and made a new one under the title "Dutch Giant"; if he was 218 exactly, or if it was rounded, and if he had been measured at any other time of day? He said that in the morning he has been measured at doctor office at 220cm but that he loses a couple centimeters through the day, and is about 218 most of the time. His wingspan is 220cm as well.
I could see his evening low measurement being 217.5, but at that point I really can't fault him for just rounding it to 218.
He actually is very friendly, and one of the few bodybuilders who has allowed his arms to be measured without a pump in public. It was a couple years ago in 2016, there is a YT video of it, and they measured 51cm, or 20". They look far larger than that. Even now, and he has clearly gained muscular weight, he says they are 21" (53cm). This is relevant because his arms are clearly as big or bigger than a lot of men who claim 23"+ measurements.
He even tells people what his current weight is rounder to he closest 2kg, he says 150kg at the moment is the heaviest he has ever been at his current level of definition. That's relevant because he could easily get away with exaggerating his weight by 25kg and most people wouldn't question him.
Rob, he might even actually allow you to measure him one day. Probably wise to email him first to confirm he is alright with it if you ever meet, but probably worth asking him as he might go for it. Olivier has commented before on how a lot of famous people he's met were exaggerated as a response when people in his comment section claim "___ and ___ are taller than you", so it would allow him to not only settle the debate, but that would provide you with a very good human measuring stick if you could get an accurate height on a real giant too.
