In Licence To Kill, I thought Robert Davi and Timothy Dalton were practically equal in height. Dalton looks slightly taller than Davi in one scene where Dalton had more footwear and better posture than Davi but I think it is possible that Davi was slightly taller than Dalton, when both men were at their peak heights. I also thought Don Stroud edged out Davi in Licence To Kill.

His head doesn't look BIG as such but he does have a long face yeah, in License to Kill his face looked very long and thin for instance, I think the way it was shot exagerrated it though Click Here, so it can deceive you into thinking he has a much bigger than average head than he actually has.

His nose does seem to have ballooned into a a great big bulbous thing but aside from natural age and some height loss I don't think he's changed that much. And he's probably still got the charisma and presence in person. Lance Henriksen is more the sort of guy you could say that about.

Arch, I think that might have had something to do with License To Kill. Coming out of the woodwork as a Bond villain at the age of 35 may have put his career in the slow lane. I'm surprised aswell. He is a talented guy and wouldn't have looked out of place in movie like Goodfellas.

For me he was the most believable and realistic of all the Bond films. Really bad ass, I could imagine him as the baron of a Colombian drug ring. Perfect casting. Editor Rob some guys don't though, they develop a bit of rounded shoulders and you think they can straighten but their spines have shortened - then other guys don't have as much back strength and carry themselves shorter but can pull themselves a bit more for a measurement, but not really maintain a walking height like their measurable height.

Editor Rob to be fair he was looking eye to eye with a 6 foot guy when I was watching the guy just as I was waiting on my photo being printed and could look an inch shorter than a convention buddy who is in 186cm range...but I just don't know about Davi's posture these days, I am dropping a chunk of height in this photo...

Shredder, Rob is right about that. The day I met him at 2pm he measured 5'8.25 on stadio so with 2mm error was more about 5'8 1/8 which is what he would meeting most celebs. The times he measured 5'8.25 against wall was on days he didn't meet celebs.

Editor Rob remember at 1pm alex saw me at 5ft 8.25 on the stadiometer...this is typically after 5 hours of walking/about, which is like conventions, I carry a rucksack a lot, am up early.
Always think of me as 5ft 8 1/8th though, I don't mind, remember I used to put it beside the 8, but think it's really going to make much difference.

And - lo and behold - Robert Davi indeed seemed to be almost an inch taller than Arnold Schwarzenegger. However, I could see Arnie at 6'1'' and Robert at 6'1.75''. Just not under it.

Just rewatched Licence To Kill, a (non-)Bond movie I'm not particularly fond of, and I came here because Davi - at his peak in this film - looked a bit shorter than I'd expected.
There are several moments in the film when Davi and Timothy Dalton - also at his peak here and apparently of similar height - meet, but in only two of them they stand comparatively straight and next to each other: the casino and the terrace scene. And with the exception of "Bond, James Bond" (where Davi is closer to the camera), Dalton constantly looks roughly half an inch taller. 189cm is bang on I think it would seem to fit in relation to other actors. Julian Glover I thought was a very tall man at peak, a strong 6'3" possibly 6.3.5". He had two inches on Roger Moore I remember in For Your Eyes Only. I also noticed Davi standing next to Talisa Soto and he only had about two inches on her. 189cm is bang on I think it would seem to fit in relation to other actors. Julian Glover I thought was a very tall man at peak, a strong 6'3" possibly 6.3.5". He had two inches on Roger Moore I remember in For Your Eyes Only. I also noticed Davi standing next to Talisa Soto and he only had about two inches on her. Marginally yes, although Davi has rather an unusually long face and pushed back hair which could add half an inch and give a taller impressio. To me it still looks as if he was a little taller than Dalton. 189 is more accurate I think although he may by 188 now judging by pictures of him with Chez who is what the full 6'3"?

Watch him next to Dalton in License to Kill in Sanchez's conference room as he walks out. Davi is a shade taller, about half an inch than Dalton undoubtedly who is 6'2". But the height difference really was minimal - I don't think he was quite 6'3". 6'2.5" is exactly how he looks, 189 cm peak height I think you've downgraded him here.

Rusty, I have to disagree there. 6ft3 maybe in his prime but Davi always appeared quite imposing with very broad shoulders so he'd have to be at least 190lbs. Certainly a legit 6ft2 to say the least.

He looked around 6'3" to me in the goonies and licence to kill. But him weighing 195 really surprises me. He always looked slim to me, like about 170 pounds, but i guess looks can be deceiving.

6ft, 185lbs doesn't sound very intimidating to me. I think that is underestimating Robert a fair bit. He seems 6ft2 to me. He is quite broad though.

Sorry Mr Luis, but I don't think you watched Licence To Kill hard enough, in the scene where Bond wakes up in Sanchez's residence, then meets him outside, it is clear that if anyone is taller, it's Bond, and I can't think of a scene where Benicio Del Toro looks anything but taller than Sanchez.

I have looked at several pictures with Davi and he does not look more than 186-187 max. Also several sites has him listed at 6'1". Please also remember that he is not more than 50 years old so I don't think he has been any taller than he is today.
