@AmazonLover - She's only a few inches shorter than Kevin Durand in The Strain because they give her lifts to put the characters into frame when they're walking together. Mia Maestro is only 5'4" or so, 10" shorter than Stoll and over a foot shorter than Durand, but she wears 3-4" heels most of the time and towers over Sean Astin in the early episodes. She's also not in many scenes with Durand because it's a general rule that such height difference looks bad on camera.

She is wearing a 1.5 inch at the most. I am pretty sure she didn't wear taller ones because she knew she was going to be taller than her date.
