I saw a film last night called 'Crawl' - only because I saw Sam Raimi had something to do with the production side.

It was about a young champion swimmer girl who goes round to see her Dad during a dreadful hurricane. The dams have broken and alligators have been released into the flood waters.

I stayed with the film to make sure that the girl, Haley, her dog, Sugar, and her Dad were all saved - and I'm pleased to say that they were!

I was pleased to observe Sam Raimi in 'The Stand' yesterday but he didn't fair very well at all! ☹️

Yes I agree gillian must be about 5ft 6 as next to fran kranz in sizeable heels they look the same height they did have a couple of inches platform on the front though so must give her about 4 inches do u agree rob?

I heard Eli Roth discussing on one of his DVDs the troublesome backlash that Sam experienced when he first made 'The Evil Dead' back in 1982. There was even talk about prison for making something so violent. Yes, it was indeed one of the original 'video nasties'!

Nice addition. He does look in 5'8" range with James Franco, but wasn't much different than Justin Long, so around this is probably fair. Wonder who the heck thought he was 5'11"...

Oh brilliant! Thank you Rob! My, that's a bit of a come-down on what I'd read!

I'm currently watching Sam's 'American Gothic' and I have many of his films too. I thought 'Drag Me To Hell' was ACE.

To be honest, I don't think his legs look like they belong on a 5ft11" man! One brilliant director, I'm delighted to see Sam with a page.
