I saw Shia out at the shooting for Transformers 2 in New Mexico. He was shorter than a girl who is a friend of mine, she is 5'7.

Actually, if you look at US census records, there is an average increase of one inch in height in males between 25 and 35 years old. So either our population is slowly shrinking over time, or some men still do grow, even after age 25.

Has anyone here seen Constatine, compared to Keanu Reeves (Listed here at 6'1) & Djimon Hounsou (6'1.5) Shia only looked 5'7 constantly the whole movie. That's the best pic I could find but the whole movie was like that, he was well under both of them.
If Reeves is indeed 6'1 and Shia 5'9 1/4 then that's less than a 4 inch difference, but as you can see that's not the case, Shia doesn't even come up to their eyes. Plus he's getting a little extra height from that hat.

Shia is slouchin a little there, and Aaron was right, he was far off from the camera. That's probably why he appears shorter than Hill. I also heard that Jonah is 5 foot 7, that's probably with hair. So Lebouf is like 173.5cm max.

I'm 5 foot 10 and 120 pounds. I'm really skinny. He's five foot nine max no taller. he doesn't look that tall in movies. Harrisson ford is about 10cm taller than him and he is 185cm.

Complex, give Shia some credit. He's at a huge disadvantage in those photos. He's farther away from the camera in both photos. Check out the photos and perspective page on this site--it shows just how deceptive photos and angles can be.

Isn't Jonah Hill 5'6, not sure why Shia looks shorter, but I think Shia is more 5'8. His success is getting bigger but not sure why his height keeps getting bigger. I recently read somewhere he claimed 5'10?? Just like all 5'7-5'8 guys I know who claim 5'10, i'll never understand it, but it's so popular for guys in that range to claim 5'10, dunno why. He's 174 cm. Search for the pic a year ago with Zac Efron on the MTV movie awards, they look exactly the same height. Let's give Labeouf the benefit of the doubt here and give him 1 cm more. With all the latest evidence more then 5'9 flat is incorrect.

In the movie I Robot he was shorter than will smith by at least 15cm. But that movie was like 4 years ago. So I would say he's at most 175cm now. No taller. He's not that built. He might be about 62kilograms.

She's 5'7 on the dot (I measured her) in thin soled flip flops (which is what she had on at the time) and said that she was surprised at how short he was. He was wearing sneakers (probably gives him an extra 1"-1" 1/2), and she said that he was at MOST 3 inches taller than her. 5'8-5'8 1/2 without shoes on is a more accurate height for him.

I would say at most, he's 5' 10" and that's pushing it. He was a lot shorter, about a head, if not more in some shots, than keanu reeves in constantine. so 5' 8-9" is probably about right.

It's not necessarily better to be 125 lbs. and underweight, which is what he technically is, if he weighs that much. And that's coming from a substantially underweight female like myself who's nearly his age. Just b/c you're underweight doesn't mean you aren't just as at-risk of obtaining high cholesterol and high blood pressure among other things found in overweight and/or obese adults. Especially if you're eating at McDonalds or other fast-food places often. Or just eating out period. B/c I know plenty of people skinny or otherwise that and aren't any healthier than their larger counterparts (not to mention many skinny individuals can have a lot of body fat too). Personally, I like to see people in the normal range and not looking as if they're in need of a feeding tube and/or if they've had one too many hamburgers. Extremes aren't good either way and both lead to decreased fitness.
But then again, looking at his most recent pics and whatnot he looks more in the 135-140 range. Lean with a bit more muscle mass.
And although most girls don't seem to mind thin guys (I don't), it's never good to look waif-like. And I've seen a tad too many waif-like guys these days. I'm not much to talk, but then I'm a female. In the pics found on Getty Images, (I tried but can't post them) Labeouf is looking an easy 3 inches shorter than Ford, maybe more. Labeouf is wearing flat Vans style shoes and Ford is wearing standard heeled black dress shoes that are very clearly seen in a pic of the two of them satnding side by side from behind.

Ari, how do we know that girl isn't 5 ft 1.5? Shia looks 5 ft 9.5 at best with 5 ft 9 Johnny Depp. That girl looks about 20-21 cms shorter than Shia (considering he's got his head straight up and she's not standing straight).
Ari, how do we know that girl isn't 5 ft 1.5? Shia looks 5 ft 9.5 at best with 5 ft 9 Johnny Depp. That girl looks about 20-21 cms shorter than Shia (considering he's got his head straight up and she's not standing straight).

i just saw disturbia and he looked an inch over his female co-star who is listed at 5'7.5...so i'd say 5'8.5 to 5'9.

LaBeouf looks 3-4 inches shorter than Harrison Ford(5ft11.75) in the pics of the on set video that was shown at Comic Con, and standing pretty close to Ray Winstone(5ft9.5). Also, while wearing his motorcycle boots(which look to have a good 1.5in heel), he's standing only an inch or so taller than Spielberg(5ft7.5). It's possible LaBeouf is more like 5ft8.5.

Shia's height is very tricky. I know he is under 6' but he can't be right at 5'11 either. 5'10 seems a little bit too tall for him. So he is either 5'9 or 5'9.5. He looked 5'6 on Even Stevens but know that he is 21 he might get taller.

I just saw "Transformers". This kid didn't look anywhere near 5'10. He only had about three inches taller than 5'5 Megan Fox, and he was also dwarfed by Voigt and Turtorro. 5'9 max for Shia, and 5'8.5 is probably the most likely estimate.

crazy, I always thought he was tall but had bad posture. However, I saw him on the MTV video awards the other day and he looked shorter than the other stars he came up with. One of them was Duhamel though, who is 6'3 at least, so I guess most actors would look short next to him anyways...

Shia is definitely closer to 5'9" than 5'10". Again, he looked only marginally taller than 5'8" Kenan Thompson of Saturday Night Live. I really could give Shia anything over 5'9.25"

Romano herself is 5'9" so it wouldn't be so easy for somebody like her to make such a mistake as let's say, somebody who's around 5'4". I ought to know, because I'm 5'11 1/2" and I've had people mistake me for being six feet or taller. Most of those people were fairly short.
