Doesn't appear to be THAT much shorter than 6'1" Harrison Ford. Watch their Indiana Jones movie and you'll see. 5'9" and some change (plus lifts) make him look only a couple inches shorter than the legit 6'0.5"-6'1" Harrison Ford..

He was listed 5'5 a while ago, when he was in the first transformers. I have no clue how he was upgraded to 5'9. He is around 5'6~5'7ish, you can see he has short wingspan and by the looks of his leg he isnt that tall.

Doubtful 5'9", I just saw the new Transformers movie, and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley towers over him. Granted she is wearing heals in most scenes, but she her self is billed at 5'9" and ends up looking like she well over a half foot taller, in heals. LeBeouf should be glad that this a Bruckheimer film, and as such there is endless use of tilted camera angles that can mask the height difference.

Saw him at a hot dog stand a few weeks ago, I heard he's notorious for going incognito. I saw Shia at the rose bowl swapmeet in pasadena, june 2011. He passed right next to me..I am 5 6" he must be no more than 5 9" I thought. But looking at what he was wearing, he was wearing boots, maybe an 1.5" heels. He was really nice to my kids. Nice nice guy.

hey guys i just see the movie disturbia (at that time 21... reached maximal height) and he didnt seemed to be max. 1 cm taller dann sarah roemer who is listed at 5'7... so my personal guess is 172!
at the others who tell they saw him at a set of a movie:
forget his height on the set! he wears always lifts for his new movies because he has to be taller for his roles( psychologic efect)... but for the character in disturbia he didnt have to wear lifts because there wasnt any pychologic effect which had to be filled up!

Saw this guy in New york when he was shooting wall street 2. He was in normal vans low tops and I was in my chucks. We were the exact same height. I have way longer legs than hime though, his legs are short. But he has a longer torso. Quit trying to upgrade him, he's 5'7 flat, and that would make carey mulligan 5'6 ish from all the pics i've seen of them.

Look at the pictures on set with him and Rosie Huntingdon-Whiteley who is 5-9, he is at least her height, no shorter - maybe even a bit taller. I think Rob got him spot on though taking into account the pics with Rosie, I'd buy 176 or 177.

I think that foto with George Lucas (5'6) is really telling, both with similar footwear, Shia looks just over an inch taller. Certainly doesn't look like a 5'9 man. That puts him in the 5'7 range. I'd guess 171-172

I am a huge Shia fan and have probably seen about a million pictures of him. He can look as short as 5'6" and as tall as 5' 11" depending on the angle and who he is with. My guess would be 5' 7".
However, the only thing that makes me think he might be close to the 5'9" estimate are the pictures of him and his old girlfriend, China Brezner. She states her height repeatedly at 5' 5"(which I believe because she isn't in the industry so no need to lie about the height and she doesn't look too short or too tall) and in every picture of him and her (in candid's, so no lifts) he towers over her. Like 3 or 4 inches more than her.

So my guess is Carey Mulligan underestimates her height since 5'8" to 5'9" isn't a desirable height in an actress.
I am a huge Shia fan and have probably seen about a million pictures of him. He can look as short as 5'6" and as tall as 5' 11" depending on the angle and who he is with. My guess would be 5' 7".
However, the only thing that makes me think he might be close to the 5'9" estimate are the pictures of him and his old girlfriend, China Brezner. She states her height repeatedly at 5' 5"(which I believe because she isn't in the industry so no need to lie about the height and she doesn't look too short or too tall) and in every picture of him and her (in candid's, so no lifts) he towers over her. Like 3 or 4 inches more than her.

Shia isn't even standing up in that picture! He looks tiny, because he's sitting down and is pretty slight. To me he always looks 5'9" in pictures. The lowest I would buy for him is 5'8.5". Stop over exaggerating seriously.
Shia isn't even standing up in that picture! He looks tiny, because he's sitting down and is pretty slight. To me he always looks 5'9" in pictures. The lowest I would buy for him is 5'8.5". Stop over exaggerating seriously.

It's important because if megan (164 cm) is 171 cm with her shoes, shia looks much taller than her just because of his shoes that gives him surely 3 cm! If you take the size of the can on the picture below (I think that cans are 7.5 inches tall), do the maths and you have he's 173.5 cm or 5feet 8.3in in shoes. The can is not fully straight, what mould make it a little bit longer in height on the picture and consecuently making him even shorter after the maths. I think he's a good guy anyway

If Shia is in fact 5'9 then Megan Fox is way shorter than her listed height of 5'5. If you look at this picture she is wearing 4" Loboutin heels and she is still shorter than he is. This pic is from the Eagle Eye Premiere. She is tiny and may seem 5'5 but I don't know now after seeing this.

Shia LeBeouf is about 5'9 maybe a little shorter. I took a picture of him with my cousin and my cousin is 5'3 im 5'3 and she was wear high heels that gave her like 3 1/2 inches and he was still taller but not by much maybe a 2 inches, and maybe you throw a 1/4 on that? but he is not 5'10. my brother is 5'10 1/2 and my bro has about 2 inches maybe 3 on him?

Definitely a stretch Complex...and did you notice the boots he was wearing throughout the movie? Even when he put on that cop uniform he was wearing dress shoes....so yea...I know he's like one of the better actors now but his height, compared to zac efron and jonah hill just dosen't seem to add up.

Just saw eagle eye, it showed a license for him that said 5'10, that's quite a stretch I think since he was virtually the same height as 5'7 michelle monaghan, even for her in the movie they quote her height as "approx 5'9" but granted that's judging from her character sitting down, which makes no sense. Either way, she's 5'7 and he couldn't of been more than an inch taller, at very best 1.5 inches!
