Jason Momoa (listed 6’4” here) was recently pictured with Ofa Tu’ungafasi (listed 195cm) and they look close in height. SBW was always clearly taller than Ofa (who is definitely more like 6’3” than 6’5”). Hard to imagine SBW being shorter than Momoa.

Manu Vatuvei always looked tall for his 189cm listing. Taller than 40 year old Jonah Lomu. He is also very similar in height to Joseph Parker. 189cm always seemed to me like it was probably an actual barefoot measurement.

Hey Rob do you think that this 6’31/2 listing is his current height and that a solid 6’4 or even more is his peak. My uncle met him back around 2007 and again late last year. He said he wasn’t as tall as he remembered. Probably because of all the surgeries and years of heavy contact.

I have never met one who was smaller than his billing.
But I have met many that were actually taller than expected.
Sonny Bill is one of these, always looks huge on pics or on the field, and same in the reality, never looks under 6'4 to me.
In my opinion he clearly is the 194 cm they billed him, 191 must have been an "early" billing ( he started playing pro in rugby league in Australia age 15... )

I see Sonny Bill around a bit (he tends to go the same gym as me when at home at Auckland). I used to scoff at the 6'4" claims - until I stood next to him. He is surprisingly tall, as tall as the claim - taller than he seems in photos, but less massive (he's generally pretty ripped, but 108kg is not that heavy for someone of his height). Probably not that helpful a comment but at least I have had actually something to do with the man.

Sorry but I think a person who is 194 cm barefoot looks bigger besides a person who is 183 cm like Reni Maitua. On all blacks Homepage he is listed 197 cm which is ridiculous. He looks besides Rieko Iaone and Wayne Parnell both 188 cm 2-3 cm bigger not more! With teammate Kieran Read (193 cm) he looks 1-2 cm smaller. Sorry but I think a person who is 194 cm barefoot looks bigger besides a person who is 183 cm like Reni Maitua. On all blacks Homepage he is listed 197 cm which is ridiculous. He looks besides Rieko Iaone and Wayne Parnell both 188 cm 2-3 cm bigger not more! With teammate Kieran Read (193 cm) he looks 1-2 cm smaller.
