I would go with what you said. Maybe an out of bed of 188.5-189 and an afternoon in the 186-187 range (6’1.5”)

Looks a 6ft 5 range guy there.

@Canson

I saw somewhere that you believe John Wall to be 6'2 flat, why you think so? He was measured 6'2."75 and granted that it might be his morning height, don't you think flat 6'2 is too low?

I meant here's how he looks next to Pogba who Rob has at 6'3"25 and generally never look under 6'3
Click Here Pogba was dropping height there but if he stands tall, probably would be 1/2-5/8 inch taller than Wall, if you think Pogba is legit 6'3-6'3"25 range then wouldn't that make Wall 6'2"75? At very least 6'2"5.

Here's another where Pogba looks just as tall as other legit 6'3 guy Rio Ferdinand
So Pogba is definitely a 6'3 guy, whether a flat 6'3 or fraction above it.

Here's how Wall stacks up to Curry who I think is somewhere from 6'1"5 - 6'1 5/8 afternoon
Maybe Curry's sneakers were thicker in 1st pic? That's why Wall barely looked taller there, but in the 2nd pic he looks around an inch taller.

While I don't think Wall is 6'3, he's somewhere in 6'2"5 range I believe, if he's 6'2 flat, wouldn't that make Pogba under 6'3? I usually agree with your estimate, but about Wall that's the one I disagree with.

Notice how massive Curry's shoes were and he's still barely the same level as King.

So Rob I've done the trouble of finding all these pics to prove to you that Curry isn't a 6'2 guy, he's at best 6'1.75 and that's being generous already as he's so close in height with 6'1.25 Rose, 6'1.5 is the better fit for him. If he's 6'2 why does he constantly appear shorter than legit 6'2 guys and barely taller than 6'1 guys?? He derseves the downgrade Rob if we talking about real height.
RJT said on 10/Aug/20
6'2 morning

6'1 5/8 or 6'1.5 afternoon

6'1.25 or few mm above night

If you meet him in person' I'm sure you'd downgrade him Rob. Looks too close to Obama for him to be 6'2.

Here's the icing on the cake

Next to 6'2 barefoot Eric Gordon, Curry looks visibly shorter. On the left to Gordon is OJ Mayo and he's 6.3.25, that' s what a proper 6'3 guy looks like.

You can see that Rose a lil bit shorter so 6'1.25 is right, and Westbrook a lil bit taller than Gordon, so 6'2.25 might be better fit as you usually put someone's near low for their height.

Pic was from 2010 USA basketball team, so those guys were at least 22.

@Christian: yea Steph looks Max 6’1.5” next to him. That’s essentially what Mike Greenberg guessed him and what The poster Jackson also said he looked next to his 6’2.5” friend. I didn’t believe Nipsey was a full 6’3 either afternoon height. More 6’2.5” but it’s likely that Nipsey was just rounding up or that he was measured even earlier in the day and rounded up from 6’2.75 or 6’2 7/8 to 6’3”. A 6’2.5” guy rounding to 6’3” is even acceptable in my book if it’s his low

@Junior: I can see 3/4” maybe not 2cm. It could be 5/8”. My guess 6’2.25” and 6’1.5” or 6’2 1/8” and 6’1.5” or 6’1 5/8 and 6’2.25 or 3/8

Cman said on 18/May/20
Rob, I think steph might be very close to 6’3 since he’s basically the same as 6’3 Nipsey Hussle
Canson said on 2/May/20
@Junior: maybe he is or maybe he gained that 1/8”. I know in the comparison I posted from 2008 to 09 that all players were at least 1/2” taller in 09 (Morning) compared to 08 (afternoon). I could see 6’1.5 for the simple fact Russ edges him out by close to an inch (2cm) more than likely. 6’1 5/8 for his lunchtime height maybe. This is backed up by Jackson saying his 6’2.5” friend said 1” And 5’11.5” Mike Greenberg saying maximum 2” on him. Now of course that 1/8” is not visible but who is to say that Mike Greenberg or Jackson aren’t under half. I agree that Rock is more probable to be over 6’2 than Curry over 6’1.5”. Rock could be 6’2 1/8”
5.9 legit guy said on 30/Apr/20
Agree with @Canson here,Curry is a strong 6'1.5,nothing less nothing more
This would make Kyrie Irving 184 cm, Lillard 183cm, Kemba Walker 180 cm, Chris Paul 181 cm and Kyle Lowry 180.5 cm (see him with Jimmy Fallon)
Chris Junior Hernandez 1990 said on 27/Apr/20
@Canson Agree. But more chance Curry isn't below 6'1 5/8 (187) strongly feel and Rock maybe 6'2 1/8 a little chance.

@Space: I would guess Rock being taller than Curry. It’s not by much but probably 1/2”. Curry 6’1.5 Rock 6’2

Curry and The Rock are like the same height. They both looked a hair taller than 6’1” president Obama.

Curry is 6’2” at the most and so is the Rock 6’2” at the most. They both probably are 6’1.5” more realistically

Curry's 191cm morning height however shrinks to 189cm by afternoon and ends up just over 6'3 w/shoes.

Not possible that curry's 6'2 because novak djokovic is a 186-187cm weak 6'2 and curry's noticably taller by a full 1 inch to 1.5 inch.

6'2" quite obviously was not a low since he measured 6'1 7/8" to 6'2" almost out of bed at his combine. This listing is bogus.

Even to push an hour out of bed is impossible for him to reach a measurement more than 6'2 5/8 max if 6'2 is legit low for Curry.

A 6ft 2.75 measurement for me is hard to believe unless it was really within 1 hour of wakening.

@Rob: 6’2.75 is too much even within an hour. He woke up and measured within an hour at the combine at 6’2”. He looks a weak 6’2 at best with Draymond Green or Klay Thompson. Consistent with how a guy that measured 6’2 an hour out of bed or less should look (6’1.5ish)
Canson said on 13/Nov/19
That’s the shortest 6’2 3/4” I’ve ever seen in my life. I could believe 6’2 1/4” out of bed maybe 6’2 3/8 and 6’1.5 or 6’1 5/8 afternoon height. Very odd that Westbrook is taller than him and he’s closer in height with Derrick Rose than Westbrook

@Shane: yes good catch. But I noticed too. Some of the higher profile guys kept their listings. I wonder if guys like Curry and Harden asked for that just like Lebron May have. Wonder why 6’3 Adam Silver doesn’t notice he’s taller than Curry when he’s met him
Shane Gray said on 2/Nov/19
@Canson I think u meant to say Lebron's 6'9" makes no sense, rather than 6'7".
Canson said on 1/Nov/19
@Junior: of the guys below:

Howard: 6’9” flat
Bosh: 6’10 flat
Lebron: Max is 6’7” flat
Simmons 6’8.5 or somewhere in there. The 6’9.5 is bologna. Same as Lebron getting 6’8.5
Curry 6’1.5
Canson said on 1/Nov/19
@Junior: they all need 1/2” downgrades as it is if measured morning. And as far as growth I can really confirm that only one person had really grown Anthony Davis. I know they kept saying Paul george and Bradley Beal but both are the same as when drafted. You see Deangelo Russell measured 6’3.25 draft and 6’4 is his new listing. So he may have been given a fraction for 6’3.5 but Beal wasn’t. And George isn’t. He’s 6’8” listed now and Beal 6’3”. George is no shorter than Lebron is so Lebron’s 6’7” makes no sense. And I’d bet money George is the taller one by maybe half inch
Chris Junior Hernandez 1990 said on 31/Oct/19
@Roderick @Canson Honestly speaking if Curry is 6'1 1/2 a low then all NBA players have to drag down a 1/2 except for those who grow taller after drafted. For example of Ben Simmons and Dwight Howard they would be 6'8 3/4 a low no bargain. We could imagine 6'9 3/4 was a low for Chris Bosh will be unbelievable when the men himself apear everywhere as a legit 6'10 and Lebron mostly look legit 6'7 will be only 200cm?
Shane Gray said on 29/Oct/19
@Canson Looks like Dell has 2 inches on Steph there. I'm not sure about Steph being 6'2 1/2" out of bed. Maybe the 1/4 inch you suggested but thats the max I could go for him.
Canson said on 26/Oct/19
@Junior and Shane: I think on a good day out of bed he would be 6’2.5”. Normal day is probably 1/4” taller than Shane. 6’2.25 out of bed 6’1.5 afternoon height. I think Draymond Green with him looks 3,5” taller 6’5” flat 6’5.75 out of bed
Canson said on 26/Oct/19
@Roderick: I’ve met his father before. I had the impression of Dell that he was an inch shorter than me but it may have been slightly less and it was during the summer so it’s possible my cousin and I had footwear advantage on him. Dell appeared to me to be around 6’3.5”. I think even if I had an advantage that he may be 6’3.75 tops. Here is Steph next to him.

Curry weight was always a lie i knew he did not weigh over 177lbs max when NBA given him a 190lbs listing i see and laugh as i know well how a 6'2 and 190lbs look like. Atually most of the basketball playerswere not just listed higher than real barefoot height but listed heavier than in real. I met Matt Barnes close up in person a strong 6'6 3/4 guy and there is a fishy thing about his weight that i'm a weak 6'6 and 195-197lbs in 2014 when i met him, his taller no doubt but he doesn't look anything heavier than me, while in 2014 of this link Click Here it claims that he mention his weight was 20lb lighter than 210 since 10th grade. My deep recall when i met him should be after his weight loss and there is no way he even hit 200 max while i hang around a few minutes in a diner that met him see him standing for couple of minutes before he walk out, my wife told me i even look a little bigger in size than him. He look Rreally thin in real and not that buff look on the tv or in his instagram. Honestly he look struggle to weigh in at 200. Many players lie about their weight to be given a big guy impression. Since then i follow Matt Barnes on IG for 5 years still didn't see any difference much when i met him, the 210 mentioning is silly. The 210lbs was like he wear a motorcyle helmet with heavy sets of bikers jacket and thick pair of biker boots with a heavy wallet to get in. LOL

@Jackson: it does look accurate based on what Mike Greenberg said. That makes perfect sense because he was 6’2” around an hour or less after waking. See the Blake Griffin video. Junior could be right 6’1 5/8 is possible but so is 3/8”. Remember the NBA doesn’t do 1/8” so anything even a hair over 3/4” will be rounded to 6’2” in many cases

Canson said on 15/Oct/19
@jackson: didn’t you say once that your 6’2.5 friend met him and was an inch taller? That adds up to what Mike Greenberg from Mike and Mike said. “Im 5’11 1/2 and he was maybe 2 inches taller than me” is what he said. That’s how Curry looks. He looks a 6’1” range guy. 6’2.75 is in b-ball sneaks. Steve Kerr even said that most players want to be taller. Don’t get why when they can’t change it. I sure wouldn’t want to be taller than I am

@rob That makes sense. Btw I’ve had this confusion for a while. I measure at home with a tape measure and different variations of objects over my head including a 90 degree ruler. I usually get 6’5 on the dot or a little under or over without shoes and just socks on. I volunteer at a hospital and I’ve tried measuring myself on their device which is a combination of a weight scale and height measuring device. I consistently get barely over 6’4 without shoes and with just a pair of socks. How am I getting two completely different measurements?
Editor Rob
If your own wall/floor looks straight/level I'd trust that, but with any measurement there is some margin of error. Sometimes it is tiny, other times the device could be creating a big error range.

The highest I could conceivably believe is 6’1 5/8” and that’s if it were at least an hour after he woke up. Really all evidence points to the 186-187 range 6’1.5”.

@Onabill: they didn’t play any pickup games before they measured them. They measured first such as wingspan then height. You didn’t watch the video if you are saying any of that stuff. It clearly said in the article as well that they did it early morning because they would’ve been taller in the morning
Canson said on 11/Jul/19
@Onabill: I don’t know what to tell you. You obviously didn’t watch the video then. Griffin didn’t shower or brush his teeth or eat breakfast. I highly doubt any of them did that. He literally threw clothes on and went down. They eat after the combine. They wouldn’t eat prior to working out and there was nowhere to cook or prepare food in their dorm rooms they stayed in. Watch again and it’s clear. In addition, see this article below about the 2006 NFL combine. It clearly says rise and shine was at 6am where the players went for drug tests and then went for their physicals. They wouldn’t eat prior to doing the same exercises. Not that close at least. Nobody eats prior to working out to that extent. There’s not enough time. So The proof is in the pudding and why would a website exaggerate how much height they lost? That makes absolutely no sense. And you’re 100% wrong because if you look at Combine measurements in football and senior bowl it’s the same around 1/2” difference from 1 hour out of bed to afternoon. Rob has said before that one loses 1/4”-3/8” after their first hour. All of us on this site have done the same. Keep in mind that people constantly lay down and stretch until they’re measured when they’re able to. So I really don’t know what to say but it sounds as if you don’t want to believe it. You saying the website exaggerated is a cop out

@Canson, That website exaggerated how much height they would have lost, only between 2 hours and 5 hours out of bed would one loose that much height plus I doubt they would have been measured that quickly out of bed, 1/2 hour for having a shower, brushing teeth etc 15-20 mins for preparing breakfast and 10-15 mins eating the breakfast that’s already an hour lost then they probably did some drills and played pick up games which probably lasted an 1 hour to 1 hour 1/2 and then they would have been measured plus as they did a lot exercise that cancels out how early they would have been measured In my opinion the 2009 draft class got measured between 3 hours and 3 hours 1/2 out of bed, at the worst they got 1/16 - 1/8 inch listed higher then their true height but anything less than an 1/8 is a negligible, At the worst Steph is 6 ft 1 7/8 and Blake is 6 ft 8 3/8
Canson said on 9/Jul/19
@Onabill: a lot of NBA players that Rob lists here do need 1/2” downgrade because they’re mostly listed at combine heights which are early morning. James Harden 6’3 1/2” max not 6’4. Curry 6’1 1/2”. Damian Lillard I don’t know what happened. He doesn’t look over 6’0” honestly. Durant and Westbrook look taller than they are listed because of that when both guys are closer to their actual heights than the rest. Melo is too. Lebron is debatable. @Onabill: the link is right below for the 2009 NBA draft. It says that all three North Carolina players measured (Lawson Green and Ellington) were 1/2” taller in 09 vs 08. They even said it’s because they measured early morning. Blake Griffin’s video is also below. Rob posted that on his page and it was clearly not long after he woke up and it was the same year. 2009. Also Curry was 2009. In addition, here is Mike Greenberg saying he’s under 6’2” when he met him. Greenberg admitted he’s 5’11 1/2 and that Curry is 2” taller. Between Curry and Russ I see about 3/4” (2cm). That looks the same as it does with Jarrett Jack and Curry. I’ve known Jarrett Jack for years having played against him in High school AAU and in College we played against each other in a tournament and scrimmaged. I am from Virginia right outside of DC and He’s from MD right out of DC but same metro area. Curry’s tweet was also at 630 in the morning at the camp. Westbrook was measured in the afternoon in 2008 as he looks a lot closer to his measurement than the others do. And yes it’s possible that if it’s less than 2cm between them that Russ dips under 6’2.25. Russ looks about 4” shorter than Carmelo does and Melo is a legit 6’6” but maybe as tall as he’s listed here at best. It has been early morning since 09 and some players prior to that were measured at morning heights if they hopped out of bed and went straight to it thinking Kevin Love as hes Lebron’s height. That said Curry measuring 6’2” early morning assuming it’s not 6’1 7/8 or 6’1.8 makes sense for him to be 6’1.5 being that the NBA doesn’t do 1/8” increments. The Combine also will not round down. So if he were 6’1.77 they would call him 6’2”. Another thing I look at his How they measure the players. They don’t use a machine

@Canson can you please link me the information that says Blake and Curry were measured 1 hour out of bed, also Westbrook height is over exaggerated, just put in Westbrook and Curry and at the All Star Game 2014 where they are hugging and Westbrook barely looked 1/2 inch taller than Curry so if Curry is 6 ft 1 1/2 then Westbrook can not be anymore than 6 ft 2! I think Westbrook is 6 ft 2 1/2 barefoot but if Steph is not a full 6 ft 2 guy then a lot of Basketball Players will be receiving a 1/2 inch downgrade!

He is 187.5 at most... weak 6ft2 during the day , a solid 6ft2 like Jeremy lin looked a tad taller than him.
Between he looked just 2cm taller than 185 flat obama who i believe is a weak 6ft1 considering the fact that he is 50+ .I think a figure like 189 on the dot out of bed and 187 flat at night might be the right guess for him, i can't buy anything below 187 at lowest for him though.
Frost said on 4/Jun/19
Curry looked shorter than this next to drake. It's the court floor too so it's about as level as you can expect.

Didn't see even a 2 inch difference but perhaps the camera angle was deceptive. It was overhead by a bit.

@MrTBlack: agreed. I could buy something like 186-187 at a low. He’s easily 6’2” range out of bed but doesn’t look as tall as a true 6’2” ranger like Russell Westbrook. I think Russ is his pre draft listing (the previous listing Rob had for him) as they mentioned 2008 pre drafts were done in the afternoon versus 2009 morning measurements. That’s not stopping someone from laying down prior to to gain height but Russ we can all unanimously say looks a good 6’2” range minimum

@Shane: I could see the same. 6’1.5 maybe a hair less normal days and 6’1.25 maybe a hair less at the extreme low
Shane said on 23/Mar/19
@James: nobody is trolling. Curry was measured 6'2" flat (or slightly under) very early in morning very near peak height. People compress through the day. Most people over 6 foot tall compress a bare minimum of a half inch but most are three-quarters of an inch or more. Thus, Curry likely dips to 6'1 1/2" inch at least, and I'm of the belief that he dips closer to 6'1" on a game night.
Canson said on 22/Mar/19
@Junior: Igoudala May have been an afternoon measurement though. It’s hit or miss before 2009. Green was surely morning and to be honest he may be a guy like Tim Tebow. He doesn’t look anything over 6’5.25 but really 6’5 flat. have to remember that he may not have been the full 3/4”. They may have rounded up so it’s entirely possible if he layed around that he’s 6’5 flat. That’s how he looked with Paul Pogba. Klay Thompson measured 6’5.75 and he looks the height you mentioned for Green. Thompson looks taller than Green as does Iguodala in most other pics. I know the former warriors GM mentioned that Draymond Green was the 3rd shortest Warrior behind Curry and Clark. That may be a stretch because McCaw measured lower than him but it almost shows that the other guys are taller.
Junior Hernandez 1990 said on 21/Mar/19

@Junior: I did some research and some pics. From what I’ve seen of warriors players and management, Bob Myers VP of operations looks around 6’5.5 (listed 6’7 when he played).

With Myers:

Draymond looked 1/2” shorter than him so 6’5”

Klay was harder to see difference but my guess maybe he’s 6’5.25-.5 since he can appear .25-.5 on Green sometimes

Kerr 6’1” which he was listed for a year or two as a player and also 6’3”. 4.5” diff

Curry looks 6’1.5 with both. Is about 4” shorter and about .5” taller than Kerr and about 3.5” shorter than Draymond and close to 4” shorter 3.5-4” than klay. Morning 6’2”

Iguodala looks about same size as Bob Myers so 6’5.5 or .75 possible

Cousins looked 6’9” flat about 3.5” taller than Myers, 4” taller than Draymond. He’s always looked 6’9” with Davis and Durant. 6’9.5 early AM

Livingston looks about an inch taller than Draymond maybe 3cm so he’s close to his draft measurement which was likely afternoon that year since before 2009 and he didn’t need the boost since he’s already tall for a point guard which he was coming in the league. He’s also taller than Iggy and Klay and similar with Harrison Barnes and Jordan Bell who are probably 6’6.5 guys morning 6’7

He has the face of a small person. If he weren't a basketball player, I'd think he's 5'6"-5'7". I definitely think his height is exaggerated because you're supposed to be about 6'3" to be a point guard. In the pic here, he looks surprisingly taller than his face would indicate because he has a lot of leg. I'm sure Jeremy Lin is at least an inch taller than him, and JLin is listed at 6'3". Jeremy has the long, lanky look of a tall person, but Stephen Curry just doesn't look tall.

@Michael Gray: peak is actually his afternoon height in his 20s or when he has finished growing. That’s what Rob refers to as “peak”. It has nothing to do with out of bed height. @Monkey Knees: I’m not sure now what McCollum’s pre draft was but all players 09 or later were surely measured in the early morning. So if that’s his actual pre draft he may be as low as 6’2” (provided accurate measurement of course), as the NBA also doesn’t do 1/8” increments. They only use 1/4s, 1/2, full. @Rob I'm confused by this and other listings my friend. Supposedly the standard here is barefoot afternoon heights. We know Stephs 6'2" is almost right out of bed. So why does he and some other hoopers get a morning/almost out of bed listing if afternoon is the standard?
Editor Rob
It's still a best estimate. Sometimes one person might have been measured earlier than another, it's too hard to class all measurements to be say 2 hours out of bed. Nerves, people rising earlier, measured later.
Canson said on 16/Aug/18
If he measured 6’2” early AM like he did (1 hour or less out of bed), it means he is 6’1.5ish at a low. Keep in mind no 1/8” increments in the NBA either

6'3 claim was with shoes on. Curry clearly look a solid 187cm guy. I wouldn't go lower like 6'1.25-6'1 that low. I don't see much Curry came below 187.5cm at worst 6'1 3/4.

@Michael Kelischek

There isn't a 7" difference between Curry and Lebron. It's more like 5.5" max.
Michael Kelischek said on 1/Jul/18
He's probably a little less than 6'2". If he's 6'3" then Lebron is at least 6'10". You should see pictures of them standing next to each other.Doesn't matter he is the GREATEST 3 point shooter in NBA history. Yes, better than Bird, Ray Allen, Reggie Miller, etc. etc.

@Canson: I don't seem him below 6'2 tbh especially considering the difference in height in comparison to Chris Paul and Steve Harvey who are 5'11 3/4 and 6'1/2 on this site respectively. Plus I'm a bit over 6'2 myself and his height is almost identical to mine when compared in photos and videos. Also with his weight of 190 pounds and how skinny/lanky he still looks I can't seem him being less than 6'2
Karljordan said on 27/Jun/18
Looks waaaay taller then Steve Harvey like I said before he had like 3-2.5 inches on Steve looks the same height as Russ have never seen a photo of Russ being taller than him and looks 3 inches shorter than green but Canson if you want to downgrade his height so bad I don’t think he falls under 6’1.75 max he’s clearly taller than 6’1.5

@Dingus: he is below the mark as he measured in the morning. Probably 6’1.5 at a low. Remember the NBA doesn’t do 1/8” so he could’ve actually been slightly over 6’1 3/4 as well

Mike Greenberg says here that he’s 5’11.5 and that curry is no more than 2” taller than him

He is perhaps one eighth over 6'02.00", but certainly not below that mark. Like most basketball players his listed height is a slight exaggeration. I've even heard of players wearing multiple pairs of socks to boost their height.
Canson said on 15/Jun/18
@Christian: that sounds about right for where you would measure as I’m usually about 193.2 at an extreme low. I’ve seen a solid 6’4 once (193.1 actually I believe). But you wake up maybe as far over 6’6” as I do 6’5. I’m usually 195.7 maybe 195.8 some days.
Christian-6'5 3/8" said on 14/Jun/18
@Canson

One time I measured as low as 195.4-.5 after no sleep or reclining for a couple days, but I didn't stand at my tallest because I was very tired, so I think I would've measured around 195.7
Canson said on 14/Jun/18
@Shane: yea I’ve never gone under the mark. But for me that’s a lot since I’m 1-2mm over 6’5” out of bed and 6’4 flat as a low is about a 2.6cm diff. I’ll try tho at a more extreme measurement
Shane said on 13/Jun/18
@Canson: that's very interesting! I never sleep on stomach but would live to try it and see what I came up with. If u have long legs you may never go under 6'4". Perhaps if you measured immediately after something like squats or deadlifts you could.
Canson said on 10/Jun/18
@Shane: I experimented recently. I slept on my stomach one night and woke up a bit taller like 195.9 or 196cm vs 195.7 (6’5.06) which is my usual. Then I tried Memorial Day weekend to determine my extreme low. I got down to 193.2 after being on my feet all day. Then tried again and saw 193.1 on a day when I went to the gym. I’m not sure if I come under 6’4” at all but also because I’ve got long legs relative to my torso
Canson said on 9/Jun/18
@Enzo: he measured 6’9”. Maybe he’s grown a touch but not 2”. He’s only said to be 6’11” because he’s about 6’10.5-.75 in sneaks. Dirk Nowitzki and Tim Duncan and other people listed 6’11 or 7” are taller
Canson said on 9/Jun/18
@Shane: agree with everything you said. I class by a normal low but you’re right at the extreme low that would be it
Shane said on 8/Jun/18
@Canson:

Steph: 6'1 at low give or take 1/8 in.
Klay: 6'5" to 6'5 1/8" low
Green: 6'5" low give or take 3/16 in.
Durant: 6'9 1/4 to 1/2" low.

I personally think maximum lows (during a night game) can go pretty low and I think that's when you can get a potential of a barely under 6'1" or sub 6'5" for steph, green and klay. More likely for Draymond or Klay to do that since they likely have longer torsos than Steph and daily compression occurs almost entirely in spine so the longer the spine the more compression which is why those with long spines like me can go an inch or even over an inch of compression from morning to an extreme low.
Enzo said on 7/Jun/18
Durant is actually 6'11". He's admitted he's lied about his height. He's noticeably taller than most listed 6'10" players.
Canson said on 2/Jun/18
Being the combine is early morning he could measure along the lines of 6’2-6’2.25 out of bed and 6’1.25-.5 at a low. Only throw the .25 in there because the NBA doesn’t use 1/8” increments. They round up so it’s entirely possible he was between 6’1.75-6’2 at the measurement and they rounded. But 6’1.5” looks perfectly accurate for him. He was not as tall as 6’2” Eric Gordon when they stood next to each other
cmillzz said on 1/Jun/18
Absolutely no more than 6’2 in my opinion.
Christian-6'5 3/8" said on 1/Jun/18
@Warren

There are some who vote their NBA shoe listed heights. I think Derrick Rose is the worst example. He was measured 6'1.5" at the draft, yet his average is 6'2.15", although I think he often looks only 6'0.75"
Warren said on 1/Jun/18
Wait, a lot of under the 6'2" guesses right here but average guess is slightly over than he actually has?!
I'm a little surprised
Warren said on 1/Jun/18
I'm wondering if he does sleep with a full 8-9 hours and wakes up at the first SECOND could to be 189cm
Canson said on 27/May/18
My guesses for current Warriors

Curry: 6’2-6’2 1/4 out of bed; 6’1 1/4-1/2 at a low

Durant: 6’9-6’9.5 at a low

Green: 6’6-6’6 1/4 out of bed; 6’5 1/8-1/4 at a low

Klay: 6’6-6’6 1/8 out of bed: 6’5 1/4-3/8 at a low (at worst he and Draymond are the same)
Llllk said on 23/May/18
6'2 at worst
Canson said on 22/May/18
This guy is not a legit 6’2” but that makes his accomplishments stand out more. He’s about 6’1.5ish. Draymond looks 3.5” sometimes 4” taller than him
Canson said on 20/May/18
@Junior: very possible. I’d say he can fall to about that strong 6’1/weak 6’2 on a normal day. A 6’2 morning measurement (assuming that it was a solid 6’2” and not a little less), would make him closer to what you said or 6’1.5 at a low. I mention what I do because the NBA never has done 1/8” increments. The norm from what I see with NBA players at least, is half inch variance from their morning measurement to the normal height. So some say Kevin Love is closer to 6’7 but at 6’7.75 that would put him probably 6’7.25 at a low. Love was measured in the afternoon in 08 but Shane also brought up a strong point in that many players may measure in the afternoon and not be true “afternoon” measurements if they slept later or laid flat until near the time of the measurement. I would be hard pressed after what I’ve seen to say Love is 6’8” but I can see a strong 6’7”. He looks similar to Lebron to be honest but there may be 1/2” or so difference possibly. That means Lebron May dip under 6’7” at a low while he’s a strong 6’7” at a low. I’d be hard pressed to see Love dip under 6’7” any day even after a game
Junior Hernandez 1990 said on 19/May/18
@185.4cm- 6'1 I will be surprise if Curry can be measured 6'2 5/8 in a mid day. But in reality he could be a solid 6'1 5/8 guy.

@Christian: yea at times he can. But in this pic Wall also looks taller than Russ. Wall from what I’ve heard struggles at 6’2” even. Other pics I’ve seen Where Russ is clearly taller than Curry. I can say Curry likely isn’t under, worst case, 186 or a couple mm over at night imho
Christian-6'5 3/8" said on 11/May/18
@Shane

I have a hard time seeing Curry being closer 6'1". But I can see him at 6'1.5" though. But it's strange that he looks as tall as a 6'2.25" measured Westbrook Click Here
Shane said on 10/May/18
Curry likely falls under 6'1" 1/2 easily at night. Closer to 6'1". Much shorter than Westbrook for example.

Canson said on 8/May/18
@Rob: he definitely falls under 6’2”. His 6’2” was a morning height and he’s a good 4” shorter than Iguodala
Editor Rob
But he seems like he could be an inch taller than Obama...I think at worse a little under 6ft 2
Rami said on 7/May/18
Rob, you are weak 5’9” or very strong 5’8” - I would have said you are more 5’9” than 5’8”.
noelgally said on 3/May/18
Just curious Rob,

How come you lowball yourself at 5'8 (When your lowest isn't even that) yet for someone like Curry you list him at his (close to) morning height? Makes it seem like he's 6 inches taller than you when it might be closer to 5 inches
Editor Rob
Curry I think probably doesn't fall much under 6ft 2 from all I've seen.

Draft express went behind a paywall at ESPN so all the Nike camp measurements etc are there. NBA draft measurements can still be found at nbadraft.net among other places.

@Dillon Rice: no, it would make him 6'2" lol. He stood up and was measured at 6'2" without shoes. So he is undeniably 6'2". If u want to talk about an average height or midday height or whatever fine, but don't suggest he is not 6'2" when he can stand up and legitimately be measured at 6'2" when his full body is measured.
Canson said on 25/Feb/18
@Dillon: there’s prob more like 3.5” between Green and Curry. Curry measured a morning 6’2 so 6’1.5. Draymond could be at best 6’5.25 or 6’5” flat at night
Dillon Rice said on 25/Feb/18
@Rob And if he measured 6’2 barefoot at 21 right out of bed, wouldn’t that make him about 6’1-6’1.5?
Editor Rob
he might drop to 6ft 1.25 on the worst of days, but I think he looked comfortably taller (enough that it was noticeable) beside Obama, who most folk see as an honest 6ft 1.
Dillon Rice said on 24/Feb/18
@Rob How can Curry be 6’2 and Draymond Green be 6’5 if Curry is 4 inches shorter? Makes no sense? And you’re telling me Kobe is only 2.75 inches taller than Curry?

Canson said on 7/Feb/18
@Johnson: don’t see it now. But that is what he measured as I remember when I compared him to Kevin Durant. Of course Draft Express wiped everything out. Ibaka did measure 6’8.75 and looks to me at least 6’8.5. But prob not a full 6’9. Durant looks about half inch or 2cm taller
Johnson said on 7/Feb/18
@Canson Can you put the link of measurements of Ibaka?
Canson said on 6/Feb/18
@Johnson: remember that Blake Griffin was measured at around the same time and his clock said 6:30 as well. It said that everyone was measured early am and the players they made reference to from UNC were all measured .5” taller than their afternoon heights the previous year. That said Curry (assuming he actually measured a full 6’2 and not 6’1 7/8 or 6’1.76+) is no higher than 6’1.5. That’s how he looks actually. He never looks 6’2” flat unless you compare him to the later measurements from the last few years where they have measured in the first hour too. So if a 6’7 guy early am measured 6’6.5 or 6’6.25 afternoon they would in theory not be a “legit 6’7”. Now my definition of heights are those that someone walks around at.

@Jordanmaxon: I don’t know about Andy Murray or about when he was measured. Steph Curry was measured in the 6am hour and it’s documented that he was as he tweeted at 630am that he was (also mentioned everyone from the 2009 class measured half inch higher than 2008). Curry is no higher than 6’1.5 sorry. In addition looks the same size as Derrick Rose who also measured 6’1.5

@awkward: no doubt he’s 6’2 out of bed but he was measured 6 am (tweeted 630) and we saw the video of Blake griffin same draft class

If Curry is 6-1.5 like Canson says, then Elena Delle Donne is struggling to be 6-3. And to be honest he gives me the impression of a 6-1 range guy, so I follow Canson. 6-2 is the absolutely maximum for him;
Canson said on 25/Jan/18
That’s a morning height for him. Not more than about 186.5 afternoon. Not as tall as Westbrook is who legit was measured 6’2.25 in the afternoon in 08. And Remember no 1/8” increments in the NBA so that could be anywhere from 6’1.75-6’2 they won’t round someone down with money on the line or unless asked I’m sure. Little chance of either.
noelgally said on 22/Jan/18
If Curry is only 6'1.5 in the afternoon what does that make Djokovic? 184-185cm?
Derrik said on 19/Jan/18
He looks 6’2 tho cause if that’s the case then novak must be 184cm fam
Canson said on 18/Jan/18
Curry is a 6’1.75-6’2 an hour out of bed (the NBA does not do 1/8 increments) and they will round up even if we don’t include a Bust a Gut Curry is no more than 6’1.5 max.
Canson said on 18/Jan/18
@Johnson: don’t forget too that it has taken place early am since 2009 meaning Seth is 1/2” less most likely. I say half instead of 3/8 because they don’t do 1/8” increments in the NBA only NFL
