People who say they are 6 feet can be anywhere from 6ft 0 to 6ft 1/4, even closer to 6ft 1/8 when measured by stadiometer.
You could be plus or minus a fraction and still class yourself as 6ft.
It's rarer to find anybody ever saying 'a little under or little over' certain marks. It's interesting when they do.

1/8ths figures now? You may as well say he's 6ft. This is getting ridiculous. Also, why are all the older generations actors taller than new generation actors? Lots of these guys were over six feet tall.
I bet you'd not complain if you were given an extra 1/8th inch 😉

I guess he looks close to six foot generally.
He did appear in a fair few films of note, around six foot is likely for him.
