I've seen Breakfast Club hundreds of times, the only reference to his height was when Ally Sheedy's character quotes from his drivers license 'five nine and a half, 130 pounds' ... now here's a theory, that film was released very early in 1985 so it should have been filmed in 1984 any time from when AMH turned 16 and was obviously still growing fast. Weird Science was released in 1985 but much later, so he was probably nearer to 17, in fact you can see at the end of the film he's around the same height or taller than 5'11 Bill Paxton. Johnny Be Good would have been filmed when he was 19, you now see him a little taller than 184cm Paul Gleason. Edward Scissorhands would have been filmed when he was 21 and by now he's reached his full height of 186/187cm. Danimal says on 17/Aug/11

Yes he did, after Bender asked him how tall he was. He said 5'10. I distinctly remember this. It could have been someone else who asked him, but he did answer with 5'10. I guarantee it.
I've watched the movie many times and Bender never asks how tall Brian is. In fact height is never discussed in the movie...
I actually think AMH was 5'10.5 / 5'11 in Breakfast club because he was always an inch taller than Bender...

anthony filled out big time in his early 20s. he doesn't even look like the geeky "farmer ted" from 16 candles, hard to believe it's the same guy. from age 16 to age 22, anthony went from 5-9 and about 130 pounds to 6-2, 200 pounds. he is the classic "late bloomer".
