I read that Quinn was 1m88.
Gassman's son is 1,93;he was a basketball player.
I saw Gassman father in Rome;I'm 1,80 and he was taller than me.I think 1,92.But Glenn said that Gassman was 1,88.I think that he was 1,88 barefoot and taller than 1,90 with shoes.

he looked 6'2",according to some italian sources he was 1.87m,same as Vittorio Gassman(listings for Gassman at 1.91m are unrealistic),they look about the same in the movie Barrabas and they are wearing sandals.

In the movie "Lost Command" Anthony Quinn looks 3 maximum 4 inches taller then 5'9.5" Alain Delon. Thus 6'1" seems accurate.

Quinn and an uncle of mine roomed together back in the early thirties. My uncle had come out from Oklahoma to act and ended up doing small bits before eventually becoming a portrait photographer. He and Quinn met on some film and decided to share expenses. (And no, they weren't bonesmugglers!). Later Quinn met and later married Catherine DeMille, daughter of CB and after that when my uncle would see Quinn he'd get the cold shoulder treatment. My uncle was 6' and told me that Quinn was slightly taller.

in the movie barabbas,standing next to 6'3" Jack Palance he looks hardly shorter,maybe half an inch,he was atleast 6'2".

He was a big man, at least 6`1. He was a couple of inches shorter than Gary Cooper or Gregory Peck, both 6`3 I think

Rob, I think you got him just about right. I always thought of him as being a 5'10" kind of guy, but after looking at lots of photos throughout his career, I think the young Quinn was strongly over 6'1".

I think Quinn was taller,he looked taller all through his carrer.I think when he was young he was around 6'3",he was a very tall man.
