Arthur Darvill's Height
5ft 11in (180 cm)
British Actor best known for playing Companion Rory Williams in the BBC's long running science-fiction series Doctor Who
. Whilst at The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, Arthur's listed height was 5ft 11
. This photo is from Collectormania London 2011. He looked around 5ft 10.5 but I had 0.4 inch more shoe than his converse so 5ft 11 seems ideal.

Hi Rob, if i am around 175 cm night height , how would i compare to Arthur?
Editor Rob: Toor, you would look a solid 2 inches less than Arthur, I think he is bang on the 5ft 11 mark if measured.

I think he wears lifts on Legends of Tomorrow. He looked quite a bit taller than Matt Nable who is down as 181cm.

IMO he is 5'10.75" he looks 5'10.5" according to rob but rob had a 0.4 inch advantage.

Always thought he was around 6'1 as he seemed to consistently edge both Smith and Gillan. Of course the former never stands straight (I always say he stands at 178cm) and the latter is lower than first thought (I call her 177, but yeah, ballpark).
Do you reckon Smith is genuinely taller than this guy? I want to say so, though its rarely seen on screen... He looked around 178-181cm next to Routh too, though given the angle and Routh's suit it's hard to be more exact than that.
At 179.5cm I've always thought he'd edge me, and I imagine he would, but maybe by less than I thought!
Editor Rob: Smith up close looks over 5ft 11 when he stands tall, Darvill I think is quite close to 5ft 11 on the nose.

Considering Rob has thicker soled shoes, I can see 5'11"

without the hat he seem to edge rob only 1.5inch but with disadvantage shoe 0.4 as rob say. He could be 5'10.25 at his best really not 511. I believe in rob most listing but there is always a misjudge happen am i right?

out of bed: 181
absolute lowest: 179
so he is a solid 179 IMO
I consider myself 3cm taller than a guy in that range

Rob,he definitely doesn't look taller than Ronnie O'sullivan so no more than 178,but considering shoes he's 179.Maybe his hat is fooling.

He looks like something out of a Dickens novel, looks like an Irish pickpocket of Victorian times in London!

I kind of imagine this is how someone like Brad Pitt would stack up next to Rob, obviously when liftless!

I still think he's 5'10. I don't think a true 5'11 would look like that.

Weak 5'10 (178 cm). 2 inches taller than Rob.
[Editor Rob: this guy had less sneaker and looked near 179 range, so 180 for him I think is fair.]
MaskDeMasque said on 30/Aug/12
Considering the footwear advantage Rob has, 5'10.5.
Rampage(-_-_-)Clover said on 27/Aug/12
I'm going to say 5ft10.5/179cm max if not just 178cm.

this guy is a legit 5'11, he definately looks it on doctor who.
ACG said on 28/Nov/11
I can see why people would mistake him for a 5'10" man, but I believe 5'11" is more accurate, based on the info provided by Rob.
ChiasmataX said on 21/Nov/11
179cm in this pic. A 178cm guy's eye-level will cross mid way across Rob's forehead if his posture is good that is :)

Looking very 5'10" there. Don't see how you got 5'11", Rob?
[Editor Rob: remember I do have an inch sneaker and he has about 0.6 inch sneaker.
I think arthur looked near 5ft 10.5 myself (plus the difference in shoes), he looked knackered during this shoot because he sold 400 tickets and I was very near the end of the line.]
Ras said on 20/Nov/11
I'll go with 5'10.4" (considering you had a 0.4 inch thicker sneaker IMO).

It's always difficult to judge heights of folks with hats on. Meh.

5'10 there Rob.

Looks 5'10" tops here, although that bumps up to 179 cm tops with the footware advantage. I'd give him 5'10.5", no more.
cril said on 20/Nov/11
no, more like 5'10
