5'1 sounds right for her. In the New York Minute premiere pictures, the twins & Candace are wearing similiar heels, and Ashley is standing right next to her. You can't see entirely how they're standing, but it seems like they're standing straight.. Ashley is a bit taller than Candace, so I'd think Ashley is around 5'1, but not 5'2 yet. Also, I doubt they're under 5'0.

Tell me something. Doesn't Mary Kate seem to slouch in all pics? Yet when she stood with Kelly Osbourne here, is it now you tell me yes or no, is it as big a difference as when she stands with Ashley. Didn't think so. Where has Kelly claimed to be 5ft1. Where? I know Nicole said she was 5ft1 on Jay Leno. By the way the Oprah thing with Ashley and Mary Kate was 4/28/04, but wasn't aired until a few months later.

an "early morning height" is usually taller than in the evening becoz throughtout the day when you walk your muscles tend to get "squashed" so you become a bit shorter than in the morning. if you measure yourself as soon as you get out of bed and then again jsut before you go to bed, you ll find that you ll be a bit shorter. to MizzBizz: swimming, running/walking and jumping (jumprope, basketball, etc) make you taller coz they strenghten your muscles. I don't know where you're getting that from, Brynn. Even in the pic you posted she looks just a tad smaller. MK might be 4'11" and Ash 5', but I don't think Ash is below 5'. I think those heights might even maybe be more accurate, because next to Kelly Osbourne MK looked at least 2" smaller. Also, next to Drew Barrymore Ash looked about 3" smaller and they were in similar heels. Maybe they've grown, as they were only 17 back then, who knows? zellynnicious says on 6/Jul/07

Candace's flat footed height is about 5 ft. 2.5 and she is only a little taller than the Olsen sisters at the premiere of "NYM". They all 3 wore similar appearing heel heights and CCB embellished a bit with her hair height.

Pictures can sometimes be deceiving. In some pictures MK even appears to be taller than Ash.
In that Oprah interview, just before Ashley was asked the question of height, weren't they discussing MK's kissing scene and the fact that she had to stand on on box to kiss him due to the height difference? MKI mentioned something about being 5, 5 ft. 1 or so and then Oprah then asked Ashley if she was about an inch taller and that would make her 5 ft. 2 when Ashley made the comment about not being 5 ft. 2?
Ash likes to play up the shortness while MK would like to be taller. MK is just a bit over 5 ft. 0 and Ashley is a little bit over 5 ft. 1.
