Brosnan could often pass for a weak 6ft2 on Remington Steele and is clearly taller than Barry in that episode. Barry at 6ft0½ and Pierce at 6ft1½ makes the most sense. About an inch between them…

On Diagnosis Murder, Barry was at least an inch taller than Dick Van Dyke who was pretty much 5’11.75” at that time. Granted Pierce Brosnan was taller than Barry on Remington Steele, but I cannot think of anyone with better posture than Brosnan (except maybe David Niven) and Brosnan could have been 6’1.5”. Moreover, Barry did often practice a slouched posture on his tv appearances.

On Diagnosis Murder, Barry was at least an inch taller than Dick Van Dyke who was pretty much 5’11.75” at that time. Granted Pierce Brosnan was taller than Barry on Remington Steele, but I cannot think of anyone with better posture than Brosnan (except maybe David Niven) and Brosnan could have been 6’1.5”. Barry was totally dwarfed by 6'6 Fred Dryer in one episode of Diagnosis Murder where Fred played dirty police chief. I took couple of screenshots but i have lost them somewhere. Rampage, or Arch, remember seing that episode? It's called "Retribution".

Yeah Arch...Dan Paris could easily be mistaken for Dick's son. Has that same cocky, gleeful grin. Barry on the other hand looks more like Jason Patric's older brother....or just about the right age to pass off as Mike O'Hearn's dad. Nothing like Dick....

"Lantern jaw" is a great description. Not a good photo above, but has that strong jaw and look only a few Americans have. I always thought Dan Paris from Neighbours could pass for a Van Dyke. I thought he could look taller sometimes with his dad on Diagnosis Murder but if he was shorter than Pierce...

Similar difference here as it was with Kent McCord on Galactica. Definitely think that strengthens the case for Brosnan being 6ft1½ range

Wow, I always thought this guy was like 6ft3, he's built like linebacker. Massive shoulders, lantern jaw. No way was he only 168lbs, more like 200-210lbs jacked. He's nothing like his dad for sure.

But yeah even his 6ft1½ claim doesn't hold up next to Kent McCord (who I suppose cone could argue was the full 6ft2?). I see at least an inch there. Maybe he wore lifts at times...he reminds me so much of Nick Nolte...another broad dude who tricked many into thinking he was much taller...only difference is Nolte admitted to 6ft.
