That's not Carlos Bernard in that photo, nor does that guy's shoe heel seem standard to me; looks more like a 1.5 inch boot sole.

I notice Carlos is wearing different clothes in both pictures. Were they taken on the same day? In the picture on the left you guys look excatly the same height. Do you recall what kind of shoes he was wearing?

Rob, you are kidding. If you already are 5'8 1/2" in my opinion then Bernard is at least 5'9".

Kim Raver (Audrey aka Jack's Woman) comes from a tall family. I worked with her cousin in San Diego who is a legit 6 feet tall (if anything she would round down), and definitely looks related to Kim. Based upon this, I would say Kim's height as 5'8" would not be surprising. Carlos a little taller at 5'9" is reasonable as well. Keifer really is a shorty for his fam eh? dmeyer says on 18/Dec/06

he looks the same as you but he ahs not great posture so 174 is steel possible he might be a 5'9 morning like i use to claim 5'11.75 as my height since i am betwwen 5'11.6 to 5'11.8 inthe morning like you are 5'8.6 in the morning 174.2 cm and 172.7 at night so you are a stong 5'8er like me on a bad day i will go to 5'10.75 before bed but most of days i am 5'11 even after a long day before be this morning i was 5'11.85 almost 6 feet in the morning most morning 5'11.7 usualy i am exactly 182 cn 5'11.65 in the morning and 180 5'10.85 to 5'11 at night night its benn almost 4 years since i was 20 wath weird is that i was mesured 183 cm a few times at the doctor at 10 am but i dont think i am that tall i am more 180 to 181 at best since morning height dont count

[Editor Rob: yeah, he's not far from his claim, although remember my hair is pretty close cut and he's couple inches closer, minor little things to consider...but you can see both photos give a good idea he's not pulling an Anthony Anderson!
Actually, one of the things when you're photographing like that from only 2 feet away is if as soon as 1 person moves a few inches forward this might account for a fraction in 'amplifying', so I'm always trying to ensure in any photo that I'm never closer than the celebrity ;-)

my original 174cm I'm not sure I'll change, he has a slight tendency to hunch a little, but when standing properly looked *maybe* a smidge taller with very similar heel size. My friend said we looked close...I stood next carlos a couple of times today aside from a photo op so got a good idea.
also at a couple of times today he was standing beside Kim Raver and Mary Lynn whatsherface. He was taller by a little bit over raver who didn't have big heels on today and also more taller with mary who had on maybe 3/4 inch sneakers today. Yesterday Mary (Chloe) had a heel and we were near eye to eye, today she had a sneaker...and let's say whenever I eventually add her to this site, it won't be at 5ft 8 ;-) It will be near to what she told me herself, and as for Kim...well she didn't hesistate when I sneaked her a height related question, nor did 5ft 9 or 5ft 7 come from her mouth...so you figure out what she maybe said!
Not that any photo I'd put up would convince kim's height because wouldn't you know it - some person at the front of kim's queue had a gammy broken leg so they freaking made raver sit down for her individual picture session and she stayed seated...*rolls eyes*...very lovely lady actually, gammy leg person to blame.

Most of the websites dedicated to "24" list Carlos Bernard as 5' 8". Why should he be taller than that? He's also always wearing chunky CAT type boots which may sometimes give the impression of him being taller than Kiefer Sutherland. Other times it's the opposite though. But then IMO Kiefer is no more than 5' 9". I said before 5' 7" for Carlos; I'd now stretch to 5' 8" max. paleface says on 27/Mar/06
I'd say at least 5'9 if not 5'10. I just watched Season 2 over the weekend and even on crutches - he hurt himself in real life, so he did actually need to lean on them - he was not that shorter than Sutherland. I think Carlos Bernard is no taller than 5ft 7in. He looks about an inch shorter than Kiefer Sutherland who's maybe 5ft 8in max. Plus he wears bulky high-heeled shoes. |
