I met her backstage before a "Tonight Show" appearance, back in the 80s. She was tiny. She came skipping by me backstage, her hair in curlers, with her robe and bare feet. I guessed 5'3" at the time. It's difficult to estimate height when someone is a lot shorter or a lot taller than you.

Why would the joke be on the petite one and not on the tall one? I am 5'2" and a bit myself and I am gorgeous. Petite wowmen are gorgeous and very sexy. And on another note, 5'2" is not that short. It is a very normal height. Cheryl Ladd is just beautiful, no matter what her height is.

Lol, if she was the butt of height jokes then theres no way she could have been 5'4 (average for American woman). I've always been under the impression that she was very small ans looked it in the Charlie's Angels episodes (5'0-2), and its a bit odd how her daughter is only 5'.

I read they rarely had a master shot of all 3 Angels together because she was 5' 3" and the others much taller; when they did, it was a sofa shot.

In a few Charlies Angels episodes her height was the butt of jokes. I remember one in particular,where she stood face to chest looking up at a very tall actress,who made light of the height difference.Compared to Jaclyn Smith,she looks about 5'2''.
