Ronaldo is 188cm. He dwarfs Cain Valazquez. He is a very tall man. I would go so far to say he is 186cm at night. His 185cm listing is with his legs wide apart (easy 186-7) with legs close together. And lol yes lasers are accurate. They are laser precision.

CR was probably under 180 cm only when started professional soccer at 17 y.o., in 2004 UEFA listed him 184 cm, Utd had listed him 184 since 2004-2005 to 2009, no way he can be taller now.

You can't go with 185.8 cm, you don't know where that value has come from and I don't really know why Rob has even mentioned it. The value presented is 185.1 cm, so 185.8 cm is most probably erroneous or part of a mean.

And teej, most of people who claims to be 6' tall are 5'10 at best. Nobody tells to be shorter than he actually is, and wishes to be taller than he actually is. I'm 6'1.5 and I meet constantly people claiming to have my same size while definitely shorter. I don't think to be a freaking giant (since I'm not) but I'm taller than most of the people I meet.

that is only true in developing countries. In Germany the average remains stable for about 20 years and only increased 1 cm over the past 30 years..so statistics dont lie.

With 183 Beckham. This is the only picture so far that I've seen and indicates the actual height difference. If he is 185, this is about right.
Other pictures are just ridiculous, he towers above 6 foot tall people, some pictures he literally looks like he is standing on his toes.

In which case he claims 186 cm in his homeland of portugal where they use metric, so he got listed as 6 foot 1.5 inches just because 6 foot 1.25 prob wasnt possible and he didnt wanna go by just 6 foot 1 inch. or 185.4 which would put him at 185 cm instead of 186 cm because i think he really is over 185.5 after a few hours of activities. Rob ? also 3d measurements arent 100 percent accurate I think ;) so I think hes just under 186 cm which explains the 6 foot 1.5 listing.
