Rob, what are your thoughts on Shapovalov's height. He's cracked the top 10 in the past and is well on the rise - big talent. Is he as tall as Thiem? Keen to hear your opinion.

How tall would you guess the talented 18 yr old spanish player Carlos Alcaraz ?
He is listed as 6'1" by ATP that looks too much. I would've thought around 6ft flat maybe just under but not too sure on him.

You are blind dude. Nadal is a solid 183 cm guy and he is an inch taller than Thiem. Actually people has said Thiem is more a solid 181 guy than 182.

I met him.

I'm exactly 182.5cm tall, barefoot in the afternoon.

He was 5 meters away from me, and I could tell he was taller than me. Probably about 1 inch taller.

So my guess is 185cm tall.

For the record, I also took a selfie with Casper Ruud. We're exactly the same height.

Yh I remember a commentator saying due to an ankle injury when he was younger Nadal always wears special insoles in his trainers when he plays. So if hes wearing 1.5 inch trainers and then probably near quarter inch insoles too, he's likely to measure about 6ft2 altogether. I'm not buying Nadal under 6ft,i think his 6ft0.25 listing is fair and equally this 6ft listing for Thiem seems fair.

He is shorter than Nadal who I have at about 182.6 or thereabouts. Know Nadal likes his chunky footwear though so I think he could be near the 6 mark. I think about 182.2 is fine.

Lowest I would’ve guessed him as 5’11 3/4 since he is a bit shorter than Rafael Nadal who is 6’0.25 or 6’0 flat but otherwise I will give him 6’0
