A lot of players look bigger and taller on TV than in person:
David Beckham is realistically 5'10" next to President Obama.
Messi could be debated as 5'5"...or even shorter.

How tall is Fabregas? The Euro 2012 stats, list him as 5ft9/175cm. But online he is listed as 5ft11-5ft10.

Editor Rob I think he's a lanky looking guy who can appear taller than he is. Maybe nearly 6ft 1, I don't think he looks 188cm anyway.

Dea gea sure not in the 6'3 to 6'4 range as listed, but the guy is obviously taller than those six-footers (e.g. Phil Jones). I would bet him 186cm - 187cm, no more no less

Thanks Josh,interesting.I`m very suspicious of the 6`1 listing for Jones as he was billed consistently as 5`11,then again he is still quite young so it`s possible,but I think the 5`11 listing is the correct one.I did think the 6`2 listing for Berbatov was untouchable but recently he looked smaller than Carrick.Anyone else want to make a guess?

Rooney could be 176cm but thats the MAX he is 174-176cm is likely for Rooney.
As for Mourinho he appears 173-175cm Id say. Rob had him 177cm but I dont think hes ever taller than a flat 5'9 MAX.
Rob also what height would you think Steven Gerrard is? People say he could be 184-185cm range but for me hes no more than 183cm and possibly 182cm range? what do you think?

In general footballer height listings are pretty inaccurate, rugby seems to be more accurate in comparison. And it's not always upgrading there's alot downgrading aswell in footballer height listings.
Imo Ferdinand is 6ft3.5.
