Her waist was probably measured wearing one of those corsets they wore in the 50', she was probably around 22 naturally and it was pulled into 19. I have a 40 inch bust and a 27 waist and I find it impossible to get any sort of dress to fit me so God know's how a 40 inch bust with a 19 inch waist managed. She must have had everything made to measure!

guyfrommars: I notice you like to play jokes. Gina was a shortie in any of her films can bo easily noticed that, she was as short as Liz Taylor, there is a photo of both Gina and Liz from 1962 when Liz was filming "Cleopatra" in Italy and they had the same height and both used high heels always

I always thought she's at least 5'6". Only 5'3"? Interesting. Here in Hungary there was a New Year's Eve TV special back in the 1970s, where Gina was the special celebrity guest. She performed a dance with two Hungarian TV presenters, who were both shorter than her. Both men were around 5'5" and Gina (wearing heels) towered over them. One of them later said, that Gina was a tall woman, and when they planned this dance number, noone expected her to be that tall. If she was only 5'3" why didn't they just ask her to wear flats? Then, she would've been shorter than her dance partners. I'd always though Gina was around 5'6" (and 5'9" in heels).

Gina looked sluggish responding to her answers she gave on her "What's My Line?" "mystery guest" appearance she made in 1964 because she coughed a lot on some of the answers she gave,indicating to me she had a bad chest cold on this appearance. But she looked okay in her pants she wore.

I noticed Gina is only 5'3" from a 1964 "What's My Line?" "mystery guest" appearance she made when William Schallert guessed her on the 10th clue. But she's nicely proportioned for a 110 pound,5'3" woman. But when Bill first asked if Gina was a sports star,I flipped out! Gina wore pants on this appearance,believed,according to "What's My Line?" director Paul Alter,the first female panelist or "mystery guest" to wear pants,although Phyllis Newman was the first regular woman panelist to wear slacks,starting in 1962.

In my opinion Gina was 5'4'' when she was young.There is a photo of Gina with Marilyn Monroe in the shooting of "The seven year itch" in 1954 and Marilyn is just 3cm taller than Gina and Marilyn was 5'5 1/2''

No way 5-5. It is a well known fact that she was a very weak 160 cm.

She was famous, here in Italy to be incredible beautyfull but "petite"

5ft 5??? no way, I have a photo of her standing face on with Liz Taylor and they have the same 3 inch stilettos and boufant hair and they are identical in height, I would say 5ft 2.5 max.
