I do think all model agancies are lying to make models more employable. I do camera work for living. We've been shooting all kinds of models who claim to be like 180-185cm but in fact they are not. I'm 180cm and maybe one of ten models is slightly taller in shoes than me. Most models are 170-178 tops. They are saying their height with 6cm heels on. In modeling height is important because dresses looks better on taller person, they also chose skinny ones because modeling is about clothes not the girl. I am not doubting you barefoot, but she ONLY wears 6 inch heels everytime she is on TV or at an event and she doesn't even come close to her 6 foot 3 or 4 inch husband. Stood next to her at the swimming pool last week (both in bare feet). I'm 5'7" and she was definitely taller than me by at least two inches (she was very nice and normal-acting too). Seal, by the way, was quite tall - well over 6 feet. Dural says on 2/Jan/12

Cameron's shoes had no platform, and Heidi's had. Heidi wore Christian Louboutin "Daffodil" (160cm/6.5 in. heel, 6.5cm/2.5 in. platform, according to net-a-porter).

If the two were the same height, around 2 in. of difference would be a noticeable difference. Look at Chris Gauthier height in celebheights.com, there is a photo with Jenny (and Rob) and the difference between the two is about 2 and 1/4 in.
Cameron Diaz may be a weak 5'8 or even 5'7.5, but for me Heidi is 5'8, 5'8.5 on a good day.

ARe you guys kidding me? SHe's definitely 5ft 9in. Tim Gun is a solid 6ft 2in. In the ads for Project Runway in her 6 inch heels, she's taller than he is and he wears shoes with an inch heel. And when she stands next to her husband Seal (who is 6ft 3 in) she is usually an inch or so shorter than he is in her heels (bare in mind he's 6ft 3 with no shoes on). to blaah: as you said 1ft=12inch, so 5ft9inch= (5x12)inch + 9inch= 60+9= 69 inch (not 71 inches).

5 ft 9 is about 71 inches (since 1 ft=12inch) and 71 inches are 180 cm (1 inch= 2,54 cm)
I think its a basic mistake since I saw it on a lot of other celebheights too.
