American actress, best remembered for roles in Paint Your Wagon, Breathless, Airport, The Mouse That Roared, Saint Joan, Lilith, Moment to Moment, A Fine Madness and Macho Callahan. In a 1958 Chicago Tribune article she mentioned her height, saying:
"I always wanted to be tall, willowy, and nymph- like, instead of which I'm 5 feet 3 and just normal looking"

Rob, how believable is 5’2.5” for Seberg? A figure to consider?
Editor Rob
If I saw more of her, that figure might become more one to consider.

Rob, who would you say was a stronger 5’3”, Seberg or Romy Schneider?
I’d say Schneider could have been a strong 5’3”, Seberg a weak one.
Editor Rob
I get why you might go with Schneider.

Breathless is in my top 10 of greatest films of all time, a complete masterpiece, she was fantastic to look at in that. I believe Clint Eastwood had an affair with her on set of Paint Your Wagon, he certainly digged the timid looking type didn't he!
You're too high with 5 ft 3 for both her and Liz Taylor Rob, I doubt either were a hair over 5'2.5!!

Rob, if Seberg was 5'3 barefoot, how tall would you say Jean-Luc Godard was at peak, judging by this photo:

Seberg probably stands 5'5.5-5'6 with those heels on, so would that make anything in the 1m69-1m71 range arguable for Godard?
Editor Rob
maybe not more than 169 range

She had such a pretty face but yep, I don't think she knew it. Painfully shy and reserved. Especially with short hair it showed off her features, not many women can do that.

Rob can you add The Mouse That Roared, Saint Joan, Lilith, Moment to Moment, A Fine Madness and Macho Callahan?

Would be great to also see Jean-Paul Belmondo on here! Also, while we're talking Godard/Truffaut, Jean-Pierre Leaud.

She had a poor self image.

She looked short in Airport and Paint your Wagon, but I'm not sure she looked as low as 5'1". I'd have guessed 5 ft 2.

I've always seen her quoted at 5ft 1, like Liz Taylor and a lot from that era adding the two inches.
