I watched the Running Man too. I am loathe to estimate, but it was clear to me that Jesse was shorter than 6 ft 5 in Sven and taller than AhNold. Big Show says on 23/Oct/06
Aren't there any pics of Ventura and Schwarzenegger. They've played in a couple of films together and I can't remember how they compared to each other in height. Charles Barkley indeed isn't 6'6, he's 6'4, but in the pic Jesse is standing behind Barkley and he's leaning a lot more than Barkley is. So this pic really isn't a good way to judge Ventura's height. I don't think Jesse lost 2-3" because of surgeries like so many other tall people (Andre, Hogan, Eastwood, etc..). I just think he had bad posture nowadays and appears shorter because of that. I think if he stands straight he'd be over 6'3" easily. Marty says on 14/Jun/06
In the Predator DVD Jesse claims to be a 6'5 250lbs wrestler... Now I have to give him a good 6'3.5 at least. He looks to be a good 6'4" and that wouldn't be surprising. Nowadays he's probably around 6'2 1/2 Frank says on 13/Feb/06

In the mid-eighties, whenever Jesse would interview Hulk Hogan, it was always apparent that Hogan had a good two inches on Jesse...Even when they wrestled, Ventura looked small next to Hogan...Now, Hogan is said to be no more than 6'4" today and it would be very interesting to see them stand next to each other with Hogan's obvious loss in height over the years...I have read that Ventura is 6'2" and 245 pounds today, but I have also seen him listed at 6'4"-6'5"...His heighest weight in the WWF was 281 pounds... Ventura also said he was 6'5" in part of the DVD extras for Predator. Guess he's another one of those people who can't decide what height they are. :)
He also is said not to have been a Navy SEAL at all but was a UDT (a "frog") which was a much, much safer job to be in back then, so his honesty is perhaps questionable on some things but that's maybe no surprise as we are talking about a former wrestler here. ;) CelebHeights Editor says on 26/Aug/05
