Kate is really 5'5. And there's another "SHORT" fashion model out there by the name of Jamie Rishar at 5'5! I'm sooooo tired of hearing the BS about not accepting short models in fashion when these 2 are accepted. Others say it's not the norm and all about the clothes. Hello? They can't adjust the clothing just for these 2 shorties!! You see as kelsey said, it's not about height at all!! Stop the lies that fashion models MUST be 5'11!

This is a weird case in most of the celebrity heights I completly agree but I cant figure out Kate. Personally with the picture I would believe Glenn because he is leaning so she defintly is not 5 foot 8 or even 5 foot 7. everyone comments on how kate moss changed common standards and although 5'7'' is already considered too short, i believe she is 5'6''. no-one lower than that stands a change in the runway, of course. but you can model in different areas of fashion. face-modelling, catalogue-modelling, etc.

Ive seen her say she is 5 ft 7 on an interview but ive heard alot of people say she is 5 ft 6 but i think sheopens the door for alot of girls who are shorter than most successful models and i think she is gorgeous and unusual and something differet because she is small she stands out and is more successful than all the other taller models so i think you can be shorter and still as successful x

when she appeared on little britain for comic relief she was standing next to a 5'6.5 (?) matt lucas. Given they were both wearing the same trainers with about 1/2 inch platform, Matt was still at least 1/2 inch taller than kate so therefore 5'6 would make sense

I agree with 5'6", maybe 5'6.5". I just watched her ths on e!, and there they say she's 5'7", but pictures say enough. Maybe it's because i'm dutch and used to tall people, but I just find it really hard to believe that she would be under 5'6".

I saw her in a shop in St Johns Wood a couple of years ago, and I'm sure she's about 5'6 - I'm 5'8.5 and she wasn't THAT much shorter than me. She was wearing flat shoes and so was I.

I agree that nowadays she doesn't look as anorexic as she did in the early 1990s, while she was dating Johnny Depp. I guess she didn't weight more than 7 stone back then. I saw her here in Manchester at Babyshambles concert. Nobody expected she would turn up, but she did, even got on the stage with her junkie dear. She looked absurdly tiny for a supermodel, 5'6" MAX, more likely 5'5". Next to Doherty who is very tall, almost 6'3", she looked like a Bratz doll.

Why lie anyway, if they want to use her, they use her. There doesnt't necessarily have to be a height rule if you're a model. UNK-I read over your comments on the Depp page. But aren't you pointing out that Depp is shorter than listed? If he is shorter, it would not matter if Kate bends her knees or slouches in some photos--Kate would also be shorter too. I agree, she could be slightly taller than 5-4, but not by more than an inch, I think.

I know Depp usually looks a few inches taller than her, my point is you could find pics where he doesn't tower her by any menas, and Depp's boots with her are always suspect. Check what I wrote on Depp's page.

I agree that Kate Moss looks more like 5"4 compared to 5"8 Glenn. This might not be a good indicator but in the early 90's when she posed with Mark Walbergh who you put in your site as 5"8 she looks a good 4 inches shorter making her the 5"4 that you think. Click Here

I met Kate Moss around march 2006 here in Venice/Italy, i am 1.93cm and she was wearing sport flat shoes just as i am, i'd say 1.68 cm is correct, i said hi to her and the top of her head was around my shoulder. she even asked if i work in fashion field and i replied NO, she asked how tall i am and i replied 1.93 cm, she was kinda impressed and said i should've worked in the fashion field, my height wouldn't go to waste. :D

with that photoshop trick, we still have to remember that a 4" heel does not make you a full 4 inches taller, you're only lifting the heel of your foot (and kinda slopes your knees and stuff) up 4 inches so maybe you gain 2.75-3.25 inches of height, the only shoes that would gain you the full height of the heel is a platform shoe that's uniform in height from heel to toe (I've experimented to figure this out)......That said, I do think the picture helps to confirm she is in the 5'6 range and possibly smaller.....I know I have a girlfriend who is 5'1.5"/5'2" and I'm 5'6" in the morning.....when I have a heel on and she's wearing sneakers I'm towering over her so it seems like a much bigger difference than it actually is......Looking at that picture of Kate and Kelly it seems to be a similar difference in height as me and my friend in the same shoe situation so 5'5.5"/5'6" not taller, would be my best guess.....
with that photoshop trick, we still have to remember that a 4" heel does not make you a full 4 inches taller, you're only lifting the heel of your foot (and kinda slopes your knees and stuff) up 4 inches so maybe you gain 2.75-3.25 inches of height, the only shoes that would gain you the full height of the heel is a platform shoe that's uniform in height from heel to toe (I've experimented to figure this out)......That said, I do think the picture helps to confirm she is in the 5'6 range and possibly smaller.....I know I have a girlfriend who is 5'1.5"/5'2" and I'm 5'6" in the morning.....when I have a heel on and she's wearing sneakers I'm towering over her so it seems like a much bigger difference than it actually is......Looking at that picture of Kate and Kelly it seems to be a similar difference in height as me and my friend in the same shoe situation so 5'5.5"/5'6" not taller, would be my best guess.....

What is Kim talking about?? In the pictures with Gwyneth P., Kate is only an inch shorter (1.5 at best). Paltrow is clearly 5'7, so that makes sense that Moss is 5'6" or 5'5". Gwyn is not 3 inches taller in those pics especialy, by any stretch.

She does stand out. I used to runway model in NY and no one is as tall as you think save for a few real heights, like Giselle, who is really 5'10". Kate moss and I have been in the same room enough times for me to tell that she is clearly 5'5", not quite the 5'6" of most short models. And it does stand out...to her advantage.

I am also sure that nobody in the industry would say their real height unless they are 5'10" or more since being shorter breeds an insecurity and an inferiority in the eyes of clients/fans. I am close to a lot of girls still working and rarely are any of them listed at their real height. we are all just SO thin when we're working that we do look taller IN PHOTOS / ON A RUNWAY. See us in real life and it's obvious. No big deal, really. Kate is a phenomenon, though. I mean, she is so so small for modeling but so so good.

"UNK"--why you just asking me? Many people on this site believe Kate is 5'5". But back in the day, Kate was described as, "taking a chance on a 5'4" model". Modeling agencies "round" models heights so that the model can be successful and get work. Kate Moss is no different. Some sites will post Kate's height, anywhere from 5'5" all the way up to 5'8" to make Kate seem taller than she really is. Just because the Google sites have her down for 5'6"-5'7", doesn't mean they're true. I've seen pictures of Kate and she does look 5'4".

Elle's heels are a little bit higher, but, Kate really looks like a dwarf next to her! I'm really starting to think that Kate is 5'5 max.

Ha Ha... there is no way Kate is 5'3" dude... 5'5.5" at the shortest. I give her a solid 5'6", she gets listed a lot at 5'7", but that's the modelling agencies trying to up her. But 5'3", come on... she couldn't be a successfull fashion model at that height... look at her in catwalk pics next to 6'0" models... she is small, but not 5'3".
You can't see the bottom half of your pic... who knows what's going on with their feet.

I have a friend who won a modelling competition, Elite. She stands 5'7" flat, sans shoes. They're meticulously measured with regards to height, weight and body frame. She was told that she is of the same height and size as Kate Moss.

I actually saw Kate Moss in Dublin last weekend. She is definitely no more than 5 ft 6.. I'm 5 ft 5 so I was delighted as I had seen reports that she is 5 ft 8.
