I saw him yesterday in NYC. I walked right by him and his pretty, pregnant wife and I was surprised that he was not as tall as he looks on screen. He looked to be about 5'10'', or 5'11'' maybe. Surely he has lost some height now, and he was probably a weak six feet tall in his prime. But why did he look so tall on "Sex and the City." Anyway, I know what I saw in person.

Saw him on set of Law & Order: SVU and he's an inch or so taller than Chris Meloni. Easily looks 6'2" at least. Definitely over 6 ft.

MacLachlan has a slight build and in the series Twin Peaks he did not appear exceptionally tall. In fact he looked smaller then some of the cast especially the sheriff and deputy. I always thought of him as an average guy until I saw Mysterious Island where he towers over 5'8" Patrick Stewart. A height between 5'11" and 6'0" seems right.

I agree with this comment. Maybe Kyle grew to 6' in his 20s than his teenhood. I'm 5'8(and age 17) and my dad is 5'11 and my mom is 5'5 so maybe I'll be 5'10,5'11, or even 6' before I'm 20 OR I can get an extreme growth spurt in my 20s.

If you guys have seen the Doors Val Kilmer is taller than Him and Val Kilmer is 6 feet and a half and kyle is shorter

From the popular show Twin Peaks, Kyle is maybe a half inch shorter than Balthazar Getty, listed as 6ft. I don´t think Kyle´s height is 6'1" or 6'2", more like 5'11˝".

See better "Showgirls" and watch him close to Elizabeth Berkley (177 cm tall)..He's been in an Italian tv program some years ago and he seems not so tall (178-180 cm,no more). Watch "Dune" too, and see him close to Sting, he doesn't appear taller (Sting is listed 180 cm,I think).
