In their heyday (around 1996) Mel B seemed to be the tallest of the girls, the one always towering above the others. However, she's average height and (according to this site) even an inch shorter than 5'6" Mel C.

Everything depends on the footwear. In their classic days, both Geri and Emma wore huge platform shoes which elevated a lot on their tiny 5'1" frame. 5'4" Victoria usually wore normal, 3-inch heeled dress shoes, while 5'6" Mel C ("Sporty Spice") had sports sneakers on mostly. This made all four of them look around 5'7" (give or take an inch). However, 5'5" Mel B also wore platforms and huge bulky block shoes (Buffaloes?) a lot, which made her appear in the 5'10" - 5'11" range, towering above all the others.

That kind of footwear can really add much to one's height. I remember once meeting the wife of a relative, who was around 5'8" in such block platforms, and when she took her shoes off, she suddenly appeared to be around 5'2"! She has completely shrunk!
