Nina appeared in a dated celebrity edition of 'Pointless' the other day, standing next to Laila Morse. If Nina is 5ft2, then Laila is below 5ft, but claims to be 5ft2 too! 🙊
Nina's fondness for quizzing has continued as she is in Dictionary Corner this week with Susie Dent on 'Countdown'. Even when the two are sitting down, you can tell that there's a considerable height difference.

Tonight I saw an ultra-long episode from 2008 EastEnders, in which actress Kara Tointon, who plays Dawn, her baby, Summer and her brother, Mickey were in massive danger - from a deranged doctor called May.
She was hellbent on swiping Kara's baby girl. There's a long background to the story as to why the unhinged female felt that Summer was rightfully hers, but despite this horrifically tense set of omnibus episodes, culminating in Dr May setting fire to the house, across the road, when Nina (Zainab) hears the explosion, she is more concerned when finding a dog turd on her precious carpet! She tells her kids off about the barking mutt instead of doing the neighbourly thing and trying to help. Her young son does go and help and her daughter is crying but Zainab is being as petty as ever.
😝 Grrr to her for that, 5ft2 and a pile of dog poo for being an idiot is all she gets from me this morning... 🐶🍴💩
I know Nina primarily takes on comedy roles but this really, really annoyed me! 😤

It comes as no surprise that so, so many of these actors from our comedy sketch shows are, in fact, experienced actors!

We went to separate Senior schools but I met her when we were in our late teens, and Nina was working as a checkout girl in Tesco's. She had grown to a tiny 4ft9, and the stool she set on had to be adjusted!

I think Nina might be a bit smaller now. She looked about 5ft1 on EastEnders!
She's got a great sense of humour and has proved she can do serious acting too. Good for her!
