My ex lives in a house share in London and Patrick Baladi is the landlord. Supposedly he is a 'bit' shorter than me - I'm 5'9.

Definately 5'9". No Doubt. And my outburst is completely un-related to onscreen-gervais comparissons. He and I actually compared sizes on the weekend when we were canal jumping. Neil is one crazy guy by the way.

Went canal jumping with him on the weekend and he was definately smaller than I would've imagined. I think 5'8" is about right. Seems obvious when you think about how short Gervais is. Life. Great site by the way.

I think 5'10" is fair and accurate, 5'11" does seem a little too much considering how tall he looks compared to Brent in most of the scenes they have together.

I would say he's only about 5'8, he's only 2 inch max taller than Brent in my opinion. Also, on the commentary, Gervais and Merchant said about Baladi being the new Bond, then said they wound him up saying he was too short. I know they were joking but i'd say 5'10 is more realistic
