No way Paula is 5'2". 5'0" sounds right. Perhaps even 4'11" and some change. She came out on an old SNL skit with Will Ferrell and Cheri Oteri as the Spartan cheerleaders and she danced with them and I was shocked to see she was a tad shorter than the supershort Cheri Oteri, which is almost impossible for a non-midget to be that short. Abdul is SHORT! As is her temperament for Simon. But she has the chest of a woman, that's for sure.

thanks for that pic quasi.... Paula always wears high heels to events, in the 4 inch range, and those will add about 2 1/2 - 3 inches to her height. From that pic (remember Swayze is not barefoot, so lets call him 5'11" in the pic) she appears to be 9 to 10 inches shorter...he has a long head, and she's around his shoulder without the hair. So.... 9 1/2 inches less than his 5'11" puts her at 5'1 1/2" in her heels, or about 4'11" barefoot. I don't think we can get more accurate than that.... I haven't seen any photographs that suggest 5 feet. Rob, please please please lower her to 4 ft 11 !!!!

My husband is 5f10 without shoes, I'm 5f2 without shoes and I come up to just under his nose. In shoes I'm about an 2.5 - 3" higher and he is about 1.5" higher so I'm to the middle or top of his nose, depending on the shoes I wear. I always wear at least a 3inch heel.

Paula's hands are tiny. When she wears dark fingernail polish, it's even more noticebale how tiny her hands are. When the American Idol judges walked into the area where they were judging people, Paula always wore very high, (about 5 inch), heels. She looks like she might be less than five feet tall.

Giada Di Laurentiis is very petite, almost tiny. I saw her at a restaurant last weekend and she's no more than 5'0". I'm 5'3 and I was looking down at her! But she's very skinny and I've heard they used elevated floors on her show, so i guess that helps her a lot.

Giada De Laurentiis, although very slim, is on the tall side. On a Today Show segment she is shown standing next to Matt Lauer (listed as 5'11" and 6') and she's only a few inches shorter. In a recent Iron Chef special, Giada is partnered with Bobby Flay (5'11") and a little shorter than him. Even in heels that makes her between 5'6" and 5'8".

I just saw her on Ellen, who I think is a good barometer of height due to her wearing sneakers or loafers. With Ellen in her sneakers (5'8) and Paula in 4 inch heels there was about at least a 5 inch difference. The top of her head was just below the Ellen's nose. IMO 4'11"

On an Exposé(Dateline I believe) she admitted to losing one inch after her surgeries. She said she was 5'2 then went to 5'1. No one should ever think she is 5'2 because she admitted to being shorter. But I would leave 5'0 up, because that looks more realistic to me.

All I can say is that waaayyy back when, I saw Paula in concert back during the peak of her musical career (July 92) and she was TINY! (I do recall her wearing heels during the dance routines as well) Everyone always comments on not small, but tiny she is so 4'11"- 5'0" seems more logical to me.

They look about the same height in those two pictures minus the huge hair. But Heidi isn't really standing upright in both pictures, which probably took about an inch off her? The apple box can't be less than 20cm in height. And let's assume their heels are similar. So if Heidi is really the 5'9" as stated, this would make Paula 5' at best. Does anyone agree?

On Access Hollywood when they were talking about the Paula rumors, the show presented Paula and her accuser as if they were in somekind of boxing match. The two host said "Paula Abdul at a generous 5'2", very generous". Hmmm I wonder how generous.

She may have been 5'2" at her peak, but she also had back surgery from which could have subracted height from her already tiny frame. She's definately an inch or two shorter than 5'2".
