Just watched the spin off of the show 'take me out'. Its always funny as height comes up quite a bit as a subject. One girl described peter andre as tall, dark and handsome...lol

i watched the video when he is being measured with a ruler and he was 171cm but i dont know how exact was the measuring because the camera was not showing the ruler and tape close.i think he is 173cm in the morning 172 midday and 171cm evening so 172cm is fair but 173cm would be better for him Physics Enemy says on 2/Nov/11
I've watched more of this guy and he doesn't look short at all. I mean he looks average, he actually looks the same height as me. I can't believe he measured as low as he did. hey Rob, I see that he measured 172 cm barefeet..how was his posture? He doesnt look tall but not short either, I always thought he was taller...Is it his build or posture that makes his 172cm frame look taller?
[Editor Rob: he had 2 measurements done, but they didn't quite add up to the exact thickness of the converse he was wearing, so it's possible he stood a fraction taller for one, or the guy was just rounding up/down each measurement.] 172cm says on 28/Oct/11

That video jed posted is interesting, I wonder how many other celebs if measured without shoes would discover they are not as tall as they thought they were, like Midge Ure, Phil Collins, Roger Daltry and Jason Priestley for example. Peter Andre does not look as tall as I thought he was in that video so he could be around 5'7.5". I don't know why I always assumed he was taller. Physics Enemy says on 24/Jul/11
Rob - Do you not think he could have been standing taller in the measurement? I do. And don't converse give 0.6" rather than 0.75"? If you weight in these factors, he's certainly 5' 8" flat or even 5' 8.25"; same height as you.
[Editor Rob: you would think after the first measurement, when he then had no shoes on that he would stand tall to ensure he was at his biggest.
there's a discrepancy somewhere because 5ft 8.5 and 5ft 7.5 don't add up with the sneaker difference.
It could be he rounded, made a mistake or there was a difference in stance between both measurements. 5ft 7.75 or 8 is reasonable but the sock measurement of 5ft 7.5, I have to stand with rubbish posture to measure 5ft 7.5 myself, he didn't look to stand that bad.] Alex says on 17/Jun/11

shoe size, hand size, waist size..irrelevant to height..I have 5-8" friends who wear bigger shoes and bigger clothes than me due to their body shape/size
