I didn't realise he was this tall!! Nick Cave had a similar sort of build and look, I would have thought they were about the same height. Nick could give the illusion of 6'4 too. His wife is very beautiful!

6'4 seems about right. Rick Ocasek was tall and his slim build can make him appear even taller if you ask me.

I just watched the video to his song ‘Magic’. Loads of people were touching him! I’d have liked to touch him too, but I never got the opportunity. However, I did touch all three members of the group Budgie!!

He was a gorgeous geezer, 1984here, and he seemed more pensive than the type to worry about his height! Leave that to me - I’m down to 5ft, with a spinal condition, but at least I’m alive. Poor Ric died from a heart condition, heart disease if I remember rightly.

I think his nature was reflected in the songs he wrote and co-wrote.

⭐️ Alice Cooper, Iggy Pop and David Bowie - in no uncertain terms! - became actors, and I think Ric Ocasek would have made a BLINDING actor himself. Oh yes, Roger Daltrey took
to acting like a duck to the splashy stuff; once you stand onstage and perform in front of ginormous crowds, acting is all too often a natural progression.

Finding that this great and gorgeous guy has a page made my week. I’ve been playing The Cars frequently ever since; my, they were a great band, who formed back in 1976., in Boston, USA.

I remember them performing ‘Drive’ at the Live Aid concert back in the Summer of 1985. The official video for this song is well worth checking out. At the end, you see all the members of the band standing perfectly still, so taking in their heights is easy. They were rather a tall band.

I gave Ric 6ft4. He did say so, after all! 😄👍🏼
