In the WWE when two wrestlers are in a ring preparing for a match. Well notice that the referee talks to the 2 wrestlers, the ref is telling them what injuries they will sustain performing the wrestling moves. Clay says on 26/Aug/10
Brock did say working in that wrestling ring 5 days a week was tougher than training for MMA for 4 or 5 hours a day. Thats a pretty unforgiving ring, and you're putting your body in the hands of your ''opponent''. The only fake thing about pro wrestling is it's pre-determined outcomes. The Ben says on 26/Aug/10
Wrestling is a tough indsutry, i actually trained to be a pro wrestler back in 1996, i couldnt do it, i struggled with most of the bumps and it was painfull after that i got into MMA and i entered 2 submision fighting contests, no punching or kicking.
Yes i would say the wrestling training was just as tough and wrestling 200 days a year would be killer but that doesnt mean a wwe guy like austin would have a chance in ufc.
WWE is scripted, the moves are now planned in advance and the talent rarely have a say in the outcome.
UFC is the real deal, the guys are trained athletes, wwe guys train for looks, most avoid big power moves in the gym as they cant handle that with all the bumps they take.
Im sure Austin is a big tough guy but i doubt he would get medical clearance to enter MMA with all his injuries.
The only WWE wrestlers who can do anything in MMA have a bcakround in legitimate sports before they entered wwe.
Lesnar, lashley, shamrock all had amature wrestling or college sports backgrounds.
Its a complete joke to think wwe wrestlers, let alone 45 year old ones could enter the octagon and be succesfull.
WWE wrestlers are highly trained, they are tough and deal with lots of pain but they arent real fighters.

fighter take down somebody like Kane in a street fight ! Because when I met
Kane that was the first question I had asked him ! I had asked him if he
would be intimidated by anyone in a street fight and he said NO . Then someone

Vince McMahon has most probably shrunk in the last decade. But not by much. From the 1980s all the way up to the late 1990's or early 2000s he did look around 6ft2in and a bit taller than Austin. Today he's closer to 6ft1in (approx. 6ft1.25in). Recently whenver he's appeared with Austin he's never looked any taller.

Austin Never looked that tall to me in WWF/WWE. Back in the arly 90's wcw i always thought he looked 6'3 though.
