I know this is a page for Vernon, but since everyone's talking about Steve Jones, I have a few observations. If anyone has watched Idol with Ryan Seacrest as host, for such a tall guy, Steve seems very stiff and awkward. Not just his body language, but how he interacts with the contestants, the judges, and the audience. Physically, the guy has everything one would want, but he always seems visibly uncomfortable. The smile seems forced, the banter with the judges it awkward, and even when he tries to comfort the constestants, it always comes across as insincere.
As for his height, not really knowing the guy since he's new to the States, I have a really hard time placing his height because one, all of the contestants (save for Leroy Bell) are short, this season, even the guys, so he towers over everyone. And, lastly, the judges are short. The only thing clear is that he's definitely over 6'0", but beyond that, I have no idea. Shaun says on 8/Dec/11

Hayden with Vladimir Kliitschko both in flattish shoes, he claims to be 6'5". If he is as low as 6'5" David Haye isn't even 6'2"!! Klitschko looks maybe 3 inches taller than Steve Jones in comparison? I'd be surprised if Vladimir was as "low" as 6'5", does look a legit 6'6" to me. Shaun says on 7/Dec/11

Based on what I've seen I actually think 6 ft 3 is more likely for Jones than 6'2". He's not 6'4" as he once claimed, I think he was about an inch shorter than Vernon Kay. I think somewhere around the 190 mark maybe. Notice he always wears flat plimsoll/sneaker type shoes as well. Shaun says on 7/Dec/11

Mmm see the video and pause around the 3 mark. 5'7" Ellen is barely up to his mouth. And if you compare 5'8" Rob next to legit 6'4" guys he is up to the moustache area. It might actually be possible he is close to the 6'4" mark. Rob can you look at the clip and give an estimate, I think Jones is looking 8-9 inches taller.

@people - are you serious? - because celebs particuarly models and actors are well known for fudging their heights or atleast giving their heights in shoes.Yes he does look quite tall, but 6`4 is very tall, Kaye is around 6`4 and looks it, Jones is around 6`2 and looks it.
