Interesting Frank2. I could buy a strong 5'11 over 6'1. I think camera trickery is why he could look 6'1 at times on screen. Its like how strong 6'2 guys like Paul Walker can look 6'3 in films.

I used to walk on the set of MOONLIGHTING since it was filmed on the Fox lot where I worked. Cybill Shepherd was usually in her stocking feet since she's about 5'8". I never did see Willis wearing lifts nor did I ever see him standing on a board. He always looked to be a solid 5'11". By the way, Cybill detests shoes especially high heels. Most of the time when she did wear shoes, they were tennis shoes. Only for long shots did she wear heels and then she'd kick them off just as soon as the camera stopped rolling. The two pretty much hated each other. I remember when they had a feud where the show was shut down temporarily. Plus they tried to outdo each other with how big their motor homes where. Kind of childish if you ask me, but then most successful actors behave like spoiled rotten children.

Glenn, I have studied this photo very carefully and now realize I was underestimating Willis' height - he has more than the two inches I originally
saw, and could gain another half inch just by matching Mamun's posture. I also agree with Rising Force that Willis is very down-to-earth and not at all the type to obsess over his height. Therefore I could buy 5'11.5". The photo with Ashton Krutcher is troubling, but in all fairness it should be pointed out that they are both assuming very unusual postures that could be distorting their difference in height.

Armageddon was the tallest Bruce has looked (with the possible exception of Die Hard 2). Although, we have seen from real life photos with the actors from the film (mainly Ben Affleck) that he doesn't look anywhere near 6`1 next to them.

Also, all one has to do is go back and watch some moonlighting, and you will plainly see bruce look like he's 5`10 half of the time next to Shepherd. The only times on the show he ever looks over it is when she is barefoot (which she was a lot)

Its really hard to argue 5`10 for bruce Misha. His median photo height is around 5`11-6`0. He can look 6`1 at times, but that is rare, and he doesn't have as poor posture as some will stipulate. I think Rob has him just about right.

Just saw the Friends episode where Schwimmer is standing next to Bruce Willis. He had almost two inches on Bruce Willis. All I'll say is that if Willis is 6' then Schwimmer is around 6'2" which I think is false. If Willis is 5'11.5" and Schwimmer 6'1" I could just about buy that. Schwimmer must wear big shoes as he often looks 6'2" in them and in scenes where he is barefoot he looked SO much shorter around 6 flat barefoot. All I'll say is that if Willis is 6' then Schwimmer is around 6'2" which I think is false. If Willis is 5'11.5" and Schwimmer 6'1" I could just about buy that. Schwimmer must wear big shoes as he often looks 6'2" in them and in scenes where he is barefoot he looked SO much shorter around 6 flat barefoot. Schwimmer probably had a footwear advantage over Willis but I saw a two inch difference with whatever they had on.

In movies like Die Hard, Mercury Rising and Sixth Sense he comes off as a solid 6ft guy. I'd say 5ft11.75 is more accurate. No less than 182cm anyway.

I like glenn but this is one celeb I have a hard time seeing at 6' before bed.. the friends episode (when they are in bruce's cabin) is on youtube and schwimmer looks about 2" taller than bruce to me. I don't think schwimmer is a full 6'2.. atleast not before bed.. I would call him a 6'1".. maybe even 6'0.5" before bed. just my guess.

Well it simply does not happen. The reality is that 5.9.5 Damon is looking taller than 5.10.5 Willis... with a probably footwear edge... but beyond that, everyone needs to remember that we are talking barefoot heights here, not with whatever footwear they have on that day.
