@Johan: I agree with you! Also search for the pic with all of the four and look for one that is "sorta blown up". It's larger view. In that one the Rock is less than 3" shorter than Barkley (that's an up close view). Many people (Danimal said it below himself) believe Barkley to be taller than he is because of his build when in reality he's about the same height as me 6'4.5. My 6'3 friend who met Rock has met Barkley and guessed former 6'2 the latter 6'4 and change. I've seen multiple posts across the Internet of other 6'4 guys who have met Barkley too and said he's their height.

Yeah thats my guess for him currently. He looked a good 6'2" next to Hasselhoff . I can still buy 6'3" for him in the 90's though, he might have lost a cm or 2 from his early career. That or his posture has gotten worse which is also believable.

@canson the rock is barely up to Charles eyebrows I can see looking at the pic is decieving you, so what you should do is a screendump put the picture in Microsoft paint then draw a line from the top of the rocks head to Barkley I GUARANTEE you the line will be at barkleys eyebrows (and that's at best)

@123: that's not 4" my friend. Sorry. It's about 2 1/2 between Rock and Barkley. The Rock is not 6'0" tall. A friend of mine met him last year (he's 6'3) and said the Rock is about an inch shorter about (6'2). Adds up because he's met Barkley he said and he's my height roughly (6'4.5).

As I said previously, a couple of episodes ago on ballers he's walking next to Troy Garity (6'1.5 on here), with bigger shoes and possibly on a slope, and yet he still looks pretty much the same as him (he could even be shorter). On HBO's Ballers, Terrell Suggs is clearly a bit taller than the Rock. If Suggs is every bit of the 6'3 he is listed at, that to me would put the Rock around 6'2.25-2.5.

Rock is 6'2.5 today guys, 6'3 flat in his wrestling days, the wrestling boots brought him close to 6'4 if not 6'4 exact.. Wwe boosted his height 2 inches that's why they always said he was 6'5 they do that to almost all of the wrestlers... They had triple h at 6'4 but in reality he is 6'2 another example is big show they have him at 7'0 & at times I remember they claimed he was 7'2 but in reality he is around 6'10 - 6'11 still pretty close to 7'0 though but just saying that wwe boost up wrestlers height..

Rock is a solid 6'3", Rob is spot on with the listing. He never lost any height, it's just that his posture became bad after he stopped wrestling, hence why he appears to be 6'2" a lot of times. The Rock was listed at 6'5 at Miami. In college when they fudge your height they will add an inch and round up(basically your height in full football gear). So the rock had to have been at least a strong 6'3.

I'd say when he was in WWE he looked small compared to some Monstrous sized men in the ring. Heck even billy gunn at 6'4 legit looked unremarkable.
6'3 and 6'4 in some settings can look small. I think when you get to 6'4.5-6'5 in any environment you will look impressive.

Liam as usual isn't standing great but we can see there that Dwayne is easily an inch shorter than Goldblum who is under 6'4" today.
People need to start looking at the top of their heads and not going by eyelevel. Guys like Dwayne raise it to give the illusion they are taller. I wouldn't say he is under 189 cm tjough as Goldblum is still listed 192cm. He is solid 6'2.5".

@denizens we really need to see the footware in that Foto. I've met david haye and he was only a hair taller than me if anything and I'm just 6'1 so I pegged haye at 187/188 max. My guess is that Haye is in sneakers and the rock is in dress shoes in that foto

There are some very silly posts about losing height due to lifting that are untrue. Steroid use can influence height loss but lifting alone makes little if any difference re: height. In fact it can help maintain height and posture and keep bones strong.

I saw him in person at Atlanta airport in 2014. I am 192 cm and he roughly looked the same height as me. I don't remember what shoes we were wearing though. 6' 3" is a good listing in my opinion.

Dwayne didn't lose 1 inch of height. He was very safe/careful in the ring, so he didn't lose as much as Hogan for sure! Hogan did leg drops which messed up his back and made him undergo surgeries. I think the Rock was 192 cm at his peak and at worse 190 cm today, if that.

I agree with your observation.Clearly taller than certified 6"2 DLo per Rob. I do think peak he was slightly over 6'3 peak but has lost an inch in height over 20 years through wrestling, OTT weight training and his physique does not look as 'natural' as it should.

Editor Rob the 191 range is something I think early 90's he could pull off. 10 years of wrestling, and 20+ years of lifting big weights may have caught up with his spine and joints a bit.

Eitherways, I perfectly agree with you that Dwayne might be 6 foot 2.5 inches today. He is quite a big guy and lifting weights day in and day out definitely would have reduced his height by an inch minimum. I wouldn't be surprised if he looks a sub-par 6 foot 2 in some years.

2) A "one to one point five inch difference" is exaggerated when the person stands on the right and in better angle of the camera.
3) Rock is bald (1 inch of hair difference), it does help he wore sneakers (Which add an 1.5 to 2 cms) and is standing on the lower end of the slope which shows him to be 2.5-3 inches shorter.

Editor Rob beach angles always can be tricky, but it will be interesting to see whenever they appear at an event in the future on flat ground, that will give us a good idea how he compares.

Editor Rob it is likely he has lost a fraction, I think he still was a 6ft 3 guy peak, now it is arguable he can often look a bit under that mark.
