How can you guys argue 6ft1 range for this guy and keep a straight face?
The guy is at the very least pushing 6ft3 today with ease and may very well have cleared it in his 20's. He was over 1in taller than D'Lo Brown (6ft2 and Rob met him). 6ft2 flat is bogus for The Rock also.

I think the rock is six foot one or six foot two tops. I'm sure he wears lifts. In bay watch pic with hasselhoff he looks two inches shorter at least and David is barefoot where the rock is in very thin shoes. Hasselhoff is pretty well known as being six foot four.

There's too much evidence that suggests that the Rock is 6'3". I even asked my friend how tall he felt he was, and he said easily 6'3". I take back what I said about 189 CM being the lowest as 190 CM is the absolute lowest that he can be.

The Rock isn't even standing up straight, and appears to be a minimum of 189 CM by him.
He can actually look no more than 4.5 inches taller there. So 6'2" tops but its not really a good pic for height. He is leaning and we don't see the footwear.
John Cena is actually one of the best examples for a sub 6'3" Dwayne. He only looks 2 in taller bringing him to 6'2.5" (189cm)
Someday soon Rob will bring him down to that, the evidence is building. Can't wait to see him in Baywatch barefoot ( if he dares) and compare.

People, I am ok with downgrading heights of celebrities, but just downgrading for the sake of it is too much. Request you to NOT pass blank statements like "Oh Dwayne was never 6 foot 2 in his whole life", "Dwayne is 6 foot 1 max today", or "Dwayne wears lifts in his shoes" is a bit too much.
It is clearly evident that Dwayne is a strong 6 foot 2 even today. His recent pics prove it. Whether he was 6 foot 4 or not, we never know (As a great fan, even I am doubtful of the 6 foot 4 claim as he never looked like a legit 6 foot 4 to me, especially when he stands near Adam Copeland or Randy Orton or even Hulk Hogan for that matter).
However, when we look from a neutral perspective, it will be very evident that he was perhaps a strong 6 foot 3 in his peak. His wrestling career pics and backstage pics with MArk Calaway, Steve Austin, Bill Goldberg, and Hulk Hogan point to a 6 foot 3 individual in his peak.
Irrespective of his height, I feel he has become a great star and still looks like a giant when compared to his co-stars who are as tall as him. While I agree that you have your own opinions, please do NOT state them as facts. If you have photos that prove Dwayne was only 6 foot 2 in his peak. Please post the links here and let us be the judge. Kindly do not pass blank statements and disagree with pics that clearly contradict your claims.

He isn't 6'1" or 6'2". He's still 6'3" as Aswin demonstrated. He's bald which could give people with hair an advantage when taking pictures with him, and his weight probably accounts for significant height loss throughout the day. But still he's quite tall and is still 6'3" today.

Strong 6'2 Really don't care much about photos in terms of his height because they have been sporadic and not seeing feet or footwear. Wwe would never be able to get away with billing a guy 6'5 if he was 6'1. With good posture he's close to 6'3

(You can also see the footwear of both actors to check if there is any heel advantage, there is none.)

I am not sure how they claim that he was never 6 foot 3 even during his peak and constantly keep downgrading him. I wish that you could let them know that Dwayne was a strong 6 foot 3 in his prime (I am saying this with confidence because he was easily towering actors who were a strong 6 foot 2 such as Hugh Jackman, Samuel Jackson, Arnold Vosloo, and wrestlers such as Triple H and Brock Lesnar). I'm roughly 6'3, standing at 190cm. When i saw the rock, he looked roughly 1-2cm bigger than me. His shoes seemed to have similar sneakers to mine at around 1". I'd say the rock is a solid 191/192cm for me, not near the 6'5 that he's billed at. You can see when he's next to a 6' vin diesel he isn't 5 inches bigger.

I don't doubt that the Rock was probably a solid 6' 3'' in his college playing days, but being on the juice for his wrestling and movie career has to take a toll on the body. It might give you muscles short term, but in return it degrades your joints and cartilage(spinal column) making you lose height as you get older. Is it a coincidence that most of the action stars are now shrinking and still claiming to be their peak height or exaggerating.

I mean there's a picture of him with Anthony Rizzo who's 6'3 & they look exactly the same height... NBAer, There is no online record of the real measurement of Ray Allen at the 1996 NBA Draft, only the measurement with shoes. The 6'3.5" (192 cm) is just a 3cm knock off from his listed NBA height, they never actually measured him (Olympics 2000)

Weight plus dehydration plus tension of muscle simply adds up. Especially if your over forty and your cushions start losing their liquid storage capabilities...
Dwane's probably same heigt and for sure trains a bit more and, purpose related, different than I do - and so his training will have more severe impact on stretched/unstreched posture.

A 1995 Rock would have be very similar in height to randy Orton I would imagine.
Obviously a 1995 Johnson though the rock had much more fat/muscle than orton does. Today though dwayne looks half as big as he did back then.

a friend of a friend joined wwe developmental last year, talking with her in march and she was saying that the money ryan made in fcw didn't cover the costs of his food etc, i haven't heard anything about ryan losing mass, there was talk that some wwe officials thought he was "too big", his absence from tv with the election upcoming doesn't surprise me though, i remember that match where he was tagging with cena and made cena look small, i would want to see more of ryan next to wrestlers i met or stand right next to him, he had 2 inches on magnus though
swagger has a bigger natural frame than ryan for sure, he has always been around the weight he is now, not sure what ryans natural weight is but it clearly is not 285-290lb, most wrestlers gain tons of weight after leaving college, ziggler was competing at 155 in college, lashley at 175 (now he is 255-260lb), matt morgan was 220-30lb in college, would love to know what hulk hogans natural weight is/was, davey boy smith put on probably 100lb of muscle mass at his peak from this Click Here

Rock is probably around 250. I'd say he maybe capped off at 6.275-6.3 at one time in his life. He's 40 and he's abused his joints for at least 3 decades. It's very possible that he's at 6'1.5 and at one time capped a little over 6'3.
As for weight. He dropped to 225 lbs for all those Disney films he did(to look less menacing), then put on 20 lbs for "Faster". After that he put on another 10 lbs for "Fast 5". He probably dropped 5 lbs while shooting Journey. Gained another 10 lbs to train for "Pain & Gain", which he then cut about 10 lbs. He has trained and is good friends with the same trainer that get Jackman into shape. Jackman always puts on 10 to 15 lbs and then cuts it for Wolverine. This concept was most likely what Rock has done recently. It's why he looks bigger then ever yet he's not. His body fat now I imagine is at like 9-11 %. If he cut to 245-240 he'd be under that and you can see abs. He doesn't have much abdominal definition.

Vegas would you agree that these days he is completely roided up?and has Barri Grifiths lost any mass if so I would be quite disapointed because I would say he had the second best physic in wwe after jim helwig and do you still estimate him at 6'5,he was an inch shorter than 6'5 Swagger and what amazed me was how 260lbs swagger is clearly bigger framed than 290 Grifiths.

I met the rock we were on grass we both had big shoes 1.3-1.4 at first i thaught 6'2 but then i saw a Guy about 6'1 speak to the rock and hé seemed 2 in on the 6'1 guy

Rock at only 6'1.5. I can't buy him that low. Obviously hes not 6'3 or even 6'4 as some say but I would still put him at about 6'2 1/2 but thats my opinion

Ive known Dean Muhtadi for quite a while since Im a Maryland fan. He actually transferred from a Division 3 school to Maryland which is pretty wild in itself.

little off topic but wwe have signed a couple of ex nfl players in recent weeks, we have all their barefoot combine/pro day heights so hopefully we get to see them on tv next to the likes of orton, rock, cena in the next few years, they have all lost considerable weight since their football days, jim ross said they lost a combined 150lb to get in tv shape for wwe

Danimal, yea exactly the same thing I was thinking. He has less overall muscle mass now but more lean mass but still smaller overall compared to when he was 260 plus. I think at 260 he looked his best probably.
