What a revolting piece of work Gary plays in 'The Heavy', threatening to kill Shannyn Sossaman's sweet little black cat. 👅🖕
I did recognise this actor, and now that I see he starred in Paddy Considine's 'Dead Man's Shoes', I know from where! I didn't have the slightest inkling that he used to be a boxer though.
Yup - he sure looks tall enough to be a strong six foot one, probably more. In fact, he's a-getting 6ft1.25 from me tonight!

6ft1-6ft2 for Stretch is about right.

Great fighter in his day but his movies are painful to sit through. I don't remember him from World Trade Center. Fair listing either way. He can look 6ft2.

In one of Gary's boxing videos, the announcer called him at 6'2. Whether he is 6ft or 6'2 he is still a tall, good looking actor and I am anxiously awaiting more movies. I don't know why, but I can't get his most recent movies anywhere. Maybe the U.S. doesn't have access to all of them. Whatever. All the best to you Gary!

He is 6ft 2" - I went to school with him but he wasn't born in 1968, he was born in 1965.

He is 6'2. I've seen a photo of him with Sean Connery, he looked maybe 1 or 2 cm taller and with Colin Farrell looked three inches taller at least, perhaps four.

Surely boxing heights must be accurate as boxers have medicals all the time. I knew someone who boxed and was officially 6'2''. In person he looked a big 6'2''.Lennox Lewis is officially 6'5'' and always has looked 6'5''. I know there is doubt with Holyfield though and his official height but he has always been small for a heavyweight and maybe added an inch for psychological reasons. Gary Stretch was a rather lanky fighter for his division so 6' seems right.
