Tayla, Ana Beatriz is 6'0 tall, not 5'11. And Estel... do you mind revealing who you are? You say you did a Marc Jacobs show with Gisele, but that must have been about 2 years ago because that was the last time Gisele did a MJ show...

In a brazilian magazine ("SET" a movie magazine) she said she was 1,78m ,one years ago. In Sao Paulo fashion week, she said the same to a tv reporter. Maybe the international fame makes people get taller.

i am a model and i once did this one show for marc jacobs spring and backstage i met gemma ward and gisele. gemma and i are both 5foot 10 and gisele was clearly an inch taller than us.

wow ok jst looking at pics of ana beatriz barros (5"11) and then gisele who claims to be 5"11 and is tricking everyone. giseles body proportions are slightly shorter than anas. she cant be 5 ft 11 it just looks to tall for all her photos i see. and al the photos i see of legitimate 5"11 girls all look very tall. so yeah in foxxys comment everyone take a look at the link and it shows karolina kurkova walking past gisele (her back turned) down the runway. and there is a photo where they are walking past the same point ( so you wont complain about the distance that might affect the height) and gisele is visibly shorter. and finally we have full length body pics and their heels look the standard height both the same about 3 inches. so there you go people. GISELE IS 5"10 (178CM)

hey look at this site linkall these pics of karolina kurkova walking down the runway and some show her walking past gisele bundchen. and karolina is clearly taller than gisele so gisele i reckon is 5ft10. look at all these pics and you can see and inch difference between the latest victoria secret fashion show karolina (5"11) and gisele who i can now say is really 5"10

Gisele is 5'10.5
She was quoted as 178 cm when she was 15 and modeling in Brazil... then when she hit New York, one of her agencies listed her at 179cm. When she became the ubermodel that she is now, I think people rounded it up to 180cm. I shatted with Gisele outside the tents during NY fashion week a few years ago, and she is definitely 5'10.5 - 5'11. Modeling agencies are notorious for rounding the height of their girls up and down... For instance... a girl who is 5'7 will be rounded up to 5'9... a 5'9.5 girl will be rounded up to 5'10, a 6'1 girl will be rounded down to 5'11 (There's a lot of girls these days that are 6'0 plus). I think some of her agencies rounded her up to 5'11. No biggie... just half an inch. Just look at footage of her on the runways (when she was still doing high fashion) and compare her to the other models that are taller than her like Karolina Kurkova, Michelle Alves and Carolina Ribeiro, who are all legitimately 5'11.

serious nou nou?. do u have photos at least like full length body ones of you and gisele together.so you can show us. you should of asked her to take photos next to you, or measure her haha or even take a photo of her nxt to a measuring tape or metre lol.so we can confirm for sure that she is 5 ft 10 or 5 ft11. or say to her are you just lying about your height? cuz everyone is talking about it. the only way we are gonna find out ( the people that cant meet her in real life) is compare her to a supermodel who is a legit 5 ft 11 or taller. and frickin full body shots for godsake. upper body shots aint gonna get us anywhere and barefeet would help. and actual real life photos paparazii take, not high fashion photos because we all know most of em are all airbrushed to make them look taller/skinnier/perfect. no makeup or lighting to create any false illusions. u catch my drift?

My mother is friends with Leo di Caprio's mother and we got invited round to Leo's house 4 dinner and Gisele was there and she told me that she was 5"11 and she definitely looked it because i am 5"10 and she was a tiny bit taller than me. She was wearing flip-flops too so there was no added height. So, Gisele IS 5"11 tall.

Yeah Silvia in that pic of her and Heidi, who's 5'9", I definately see at least a 2 inch difference so maybe she is 5'11" she definately looks it.

Gisele is 5'10.5. And you people who are trying to decipher how tall she is through pictures are going absolutely nowhere. In most cases, she only appears shorter or taller because of an optical illusion. There are pictures of models that are 6'2 standing next to models that are 5'9, yet the taller girl looks the same height as the shorter girl. I guess you really just have to meet them first before you get an accurate assessment of their height. Gisele is not 5'9. And I'm absolutely positive.

My friend styled a Vogue shoot with Gisele and invited one of my other best friends. Both confirmed 5'9". They said she had the most perfect body ever up close but was dumn as dirt and annoying.

Look at the thumbnail of Gisele with 5"11in sting. She appears to be about an inch or two shorter than him. Let's assume that she is wearing heels (although I can't be sure) because her outfit does seem fancy and flats don't usually match with clothes like that. If she was the same height as him shouldn't she be taller than him with heels?

Also, this isn't the first time a model has rounded up to 5'11". In the 1980's, there was a model by the name of Gia Carangi who was always rounded to 5'11" by Wilhelmina Cooper. Wilhelmina was enthraulled with Gia's beauty and made Gia's career. Gia's height was lied about so that Gia could get work. Her agency rounded Gia's height from 5'8" all the way up to 5'11". In reality, Gia struggled to hit the 5'7" line.

If Gisele was 5'7" at 13, then that would confirm her only being 5'9" in "50 Most Beautiful Magazine" back in 2000. I don't believe Gisele is 5'11". I think her height is 5'9". If she does appear taller, it's due to her thin figure. For example: If you're skinny enough, you can trick the eye into believing that your femurs are longer than they actually are. One could wear short-shorts so that their legs appear longer. So, someone who is 5'6" could appear to be 5'9"ish in a photo. I believe Gisele is one of these people who gives the illusion of being taller. Therefore, I belive Gisele's height is 5'9".

I read in a magazine (good source) 100% sure that when she was 13 years old she was 1m70 (5'7''). Did she grew that much? 3 or 4 inches in that time ? But she played volleyball so that helped , i guess....:(

The movie Taxi even says she's 5 ft 10. Also since supermodels are long and skinny it might give off the illusion of being taller.

Nice pic, but she's clearly standing closer to the camera, and can we even see if that's Leo? LOL! DiCaprio certainly isn't 6'1" that's for sure, but I think if they're standing evenly away from the camera Leo is still taller, she's 6'0' in 2 inch heals, but 5'10" at best without them. Check her out next to Jimmy Fallon without heals, and you'll see how much shorter she is than him.

I think normal heals for a model are 3-4 inches, granted Kravitz is one guy who doesn't quite look his 5'11" listing, but if you've ever seen any pictures of video footage of Gisele or any other model for that matter out of heals, it's like Jeckyll and Hyde. This is kind of off topic, but I caught Kassie DePaiva (soapstress) during her appearance on The View and was shocked to see her listed at 5'10", apparently it's not just male celebs who greatly exaggerate their height!

Yeah, I think she's probably in the 5'9.5"-5'10" myself. Her boniness makes her seem taller. I do remember at the MTV Awards back in 2000 or so, she presented an award with Lenny "5'11" Kravitz and she towered over him with normal heels on. So who knows?

I think she's closer to 5'10"(for example http://www.supermodelguide.com/supermodels/gisele.html) - and after all posts that I've read about models(which exaggerate their height a little bit)- I really DO doubt in her "so-called" 5'11".
