I recall him looking weird tall in Ronin, which is not unexpected with De Niro who was a few inches shorter but they filmed in such a way where he looked close to the taller Stellan Skarsgard, maybe due to the hidden menacing nature of Pryce's character.

According to the height chart on there, he's over 5'10, but not close to 5'11. Maybe 5'10.75 is more accurate. So, I would say that his peak height was 5'11.25 to 5'11.5.

Editor Rob In the 90's Pryce looked tallish, I wouldn't have thought he is under six foot...in person he was certainly looking shorter than 6ft at age 68.

Hmm so I was watching that Pirate disney movie with my daughter the other day and its true that Jonathan looks a fair bit taller than Orlando Bloom. I went afterwards and looked at premiers..he can look 2 inches taller than Bloom.
Do you think he lost height rapidly since those movies or is Orlando really in the strong 5'9" -weak 5'10" range?

Editor Rob up to 10 years ago Pryce might still be near 6ft, Bloom at times looks 5ft 10, but then I don't think he's a guy who is standing particularly well at times.

I think he's standing a little looser than Rob here, I could see him as a solid 5'11" with the best posture he can hold today. I'd believe a strong six foot for him at peak, in some films as recent as Ronin he can look somewhat tall, he could seem more than 3 inches over Robert De Niro.

He did have a scene with Nikolaj in the last episode but camera angles were "terrible", so it's impossible to say how tall he looked with him!

In Glengarry Glen Ross, he must be at least 8 inches taller than Al Pacino, but in the Pirates of the Caribbean movies he was about the same as 6'1" Jack Davenport. I would believe 6'1"-6'2" peak and 6'0"-6'1" these days.

He certainly looks enormous, but that's probably because of the shoulders (and also the fact that my favourite movie of his is Evita, were he's constantly surrounded by shorter actors)
