Kevin Nash was measured at 6'10 in basketball, but apparently they rounded up by 2 or 3 inches, took his height in shoes and rounded up.... Kareem is 7'1 and Shaq looks about 2 inches shorter than him. if Kareem was really 7'2 barefoot, they would make him 7'3 or 7'4 because he is close enough to that height people would believe it.
I seen were it shows shaq's barefoot height is 7'1 but does not give his height in shoes very odd.

Rob is probably the only one who has gone out and met other people here. There may be others, but none that I know of. And just for the record, I've been a little perplexed about the sudden attention given to my estimates since no one gave them any consideration until just recently.

Most people tend to estimate too high, including you.
Remember your own eyes are NOT on top of your head. They are at least 3” lower, even when you are tilting your head back in order to look up. You look at the top of a guys head, and you think he is 6” taller than you, even if he is only 3”.

This forum even has one guy who sees him on a semi-regular basis, and another one of these guys themselves claimed to be 6’3”, and said Vince had 6” on him.

In fact Ali Baba looked almost as tall as Matt Morgan does next to Rob Terry too, and Morgan wears obvious boot lifts.
I believe Morgan is more like 6’6” and Nash is nothing over 6’7” himself.

What Ali Baba is saying is VERY consistent with what I have heard from other TALL men too. I put Nash at around 6’7” PRIME, and possibly around 6’6” these days.
Most Bigger Pro Wrestlers are exaggerated by 3 or 4 inches. In same cases even MORE. The entire business is a WORK.
It makes complete sense that Pro Wrestling, a business that is 100% entertainment, with its roots in Carnivals would be an offshoot of Carny Culture. That means exaggerating EVERYTHING as much as humanly possible to get a away with.

What Ali Baba is saying is VERY consistent with what I have heard from other TALL men too. I put Nash at around 6’7” PRIME, and possibly around 6’6” these days.
Most Bigger Pro Wrestlers are exaggerated by 3 or 4 inches. In same cases even MORE. The entire business is a WORK.
It makes complete sense that Pro Wrestling, a business that is 100% entertainment, with its roots in Carnivals would be an offshoot of Carny Culture. That means exaggerating EVERYTHING as much as humanly possible to get a away with.

I met Kevin Nash and Tyler Mane back in August 2012. Tyler Mane told me personally that he is 6'8" looked every bit of it. I asked him who was taller Nash or himself? Mane replied "we're very close in height, but Kevin is a little bit taller." I put Nash at 6'9"

I always thought Kurrgan was a legit 6'10. i'm sure he's in the extras of 300 and Sherlock Holmes and his height is mentioned.
I would also say most evidence and my own 1994 meeting suggests Nash was a peak 6'10.

I've said it before on here, I met Nash in 94 and he was huge, I would have said 6'10.
I was outside a hotel in 03 (Insurrection PPV at newcastle) and Nash got off the bus, He was in pain and couldn't stand straight but he looked to have a lost a little height, It could have been my perception though.
I know between 94 and 03 Nash's weight went up quite a bit, I'm guessing due to the drug testing becoming less strict.
Perhaps the extra weight nash carried on his upper body caused him to lose a small amount of height.
I think once again Rob has it bang on here with 6'9.

As for the Sid mugshot; I would guess he is ~6'6" without shoes. I can't believe that that picture was taken with shoes. I don't see how Sid could have possibly shrunk by more than 1" or so. His only serious injury was his ankle breaking in half. As sick as that injury looked, I fail to see how it would have caused him to shrink. Like most other big men, Sid had a very slow paced, low risk style; so any notion that he shrunk more due to the physical abuse of pro wrestling is false. I still say he was ~6'7" in his prime and about 6'6" now. Nash always looked at least 2" taller than him anyways.

The camera is way below the level it needs to be to get an accurate measurement, and the closer you are to the camera when down that low skews the perspective even more. Although Sid's picture is much better it's still a little below even with the top of his head, which is where the camera needs to be to get an accurate measurement.

It actually strengthens my case instead of the opposite, which is what JT was going for. If you look at the picture you can see that it was done with a biased opinion of what the outcome should look like, so he scaled the pictures to reach that end.
There are two points in these pictures that can be used to scale the pictures properly; the top of Mamun and Rick's heads (Mamun is 2.25 inches taller than Rick), and Nash and my crotch (my crotch should at highest be even with Nash's).

I know the truth, along with the people that were there with me. Everyone was underwhelmed by the height of both wrestlers. Not saying they aren't big, because they are in great shape. Hulk Hogan said lots of things. Based on that Mug Shot and Kevin's age, if he is just over 6'9" now, then a solid 6'10" peak is very realistic.

Height can seem to vary a lot by posture, camera distance etc... So when we play 6 degrees of Kevin Bacon to guess someone's actual height, we are assuming a lot. That any of the subjects are accurate/inaccurate and then weather the estimate was in a situation where posture or camera distance has a big effect, and it certainly can. Then there is the fact that a lot of these guys are putting a LOT less thought into it than people posting here. No super tall guy puts much thought into what shoes he will wear today due to his height, and most of them don’t even bother to state the last half inch like a shorter guy. Tall guy will just say “six foot six” even if he is technically 6’6.5”, while a short man is SURE to say the 5’8 – “AND A HALF” they always emphasize. Trying to get a perfect height estimate is impossible. If it were possible to say for sure, to within a 0.5" we would not still be here talking about it. If that height chart is not manipulated or Nash is standing on a box, it puts Nash at 6'10 in his shoes, So Tyler and Kevin 6'10 in shoes and around 6'8 and a half a piece barefoot. although Nash could be tippy toeing. he is quite the jokester prankster.

On the other side Nash was 2" taller then Oliver Miller was measured 6'7.5" barefoot. Miller was listed 6'9" during his playing career. Obviously the 6'9" was his height with shoes on. I would say Nash was between 6'9"-6'9.5"

It's good when someone like Mane tells it how it is. His 6'8 admission made people realise that Nash is no higher in reality. peak i dunno, we have to rememeber first time we saw nash on tv he wasn't at his peak as he had undergone multiple knee operations by 1990 so he might have been taller in the 80s but next to tyler mane in 1993 i can't see him over 6'9, even 6'9 is very generous if mane is 6'8 flat
when i started here everyone (including me) assumed nash and mane were same height as both gave their height as 6'10, later we found out mane had gone from saying he was 6'10 to 6'8, i have watched numerous videos of those two and i can't see more than half an inch it it back then between those two

Kevin Nash was listed 6'10 in basketball, Tyler Mane was billed 6'10 in wrestling both men are really 6'7 to 6'8, 6'9 is still and exaggeration for Nash... well the camera angle there is what does that Tyler is much taller than Rob or Rob is wearing boots. Yeah, I've seen that interview and he looks kinda short there next to Rob Zombie who they claim is only 5'10".
