I guess her footwear and the camera angles made her look super tall on Boy Meets World,In White Chicks she didn't look that tall next to the Wayans bros who are in the 6'0 range. She herself said on an instagram live video shes only about 5'10 or 5'11. Shes reunited with some of the Boy Meets World castmembers and doesn't look as tall as she did on the show

That's not entirely true. It's true that the taller the woman the less likely she often wear heels, but I've seen 6'0"+ women wear heels too.

Most women at 5'10 would never wear heels. Even in flat shoes women of that height feel uncomfortable with their height. I know a female through my friend she is 5'9 and i never see her in heels. When she wears dresses it's always flat shoes. I feel Maitland is 5'8 and with heels i would give her 5'11.In White Chicks one of the black guys who plays the white chick was is actually 6'0 and Maitland was shorter than him with her heels on. Without heels 5'7.5 to 5'8 with heels 5'11.
