You can never trust backstage segments, i mean isn't brawler 6'0? this is in wwf when everyone stood on boxes and wore Uber shoes(Uber meaning Big).
also note, they had Raven billed at 6'1 and Angle at 6'2. so they would ask him to wear thick shoes for these segments but he'd wear thinner ones to the ring.

raven i met a few weeks ago, he is alot bigger in person than he looks on tv, really fat today with a huge belly, i thought about 5'11-6ft but he was standing behind a table so i didn't stand right next to him. he was shorter than balls mahoney who looked a legit 6'1 and he is huge too, really fat, mahoney looked 280lb easy.
dreamer walked past me a few years ago going into the wwe hotel in chicago, looked 5'11ish i thought, no more than 6ft anyway.
Sandman i have met twice now, terrible posture can make him look under 6ft at times in person, in reality he could be as tall as 6'2 but its hard to know as i'd say he hasn't stood straight in years, he looks about 6'1 with me in a photo

I would have easily agreed on 6'1 a few years ago but looking at more pictures I think he's more 6'0 flat or 6'0 1/2 tops. I thought he was 6'2 for years but that was basing it on wrestlers billed heights and I never looked into height much back then.

Well Austin claims 6'1. At least hes not claiming 6'2 which he could if he wants. Sometimes when wrestlers claim lower than their billed height it makes you think they're being honest but it may not always be true. I could see Austin at 6'0 1/2 but I wont go more than that.

Austin (real named Williams) had several intensive back procedures done in the last 5-7 years, from what I've heard, he's shrunk about 2-2.5 inches total , he had a lot of problems with compressed discs and had to get some sort of fusion done.

The security guard - he was billed as 6'0'' 260lbs. He was often on TV and used to sometimes get involved in the action. He was twice as big as Stone Cold in build and width, though was about 2 inches shorter. Dunno what happened with him ... I haven't spotted him since 2001 maybe. His name was Jim something, I think.

He broke his neck and also had back surgery. It is possible he lost some height from that. HBK, Undertaker, Hogan and many others did from the same type of surgery. It's possible he didn't though. Either way, I give him nothing over 6'0".
He broke his neck and also had back surgery. It is possible he lost some height from that. HBK, Undertaker, Hogan and many others did from the same type of surgery. It's possible he didn't though. Either way, I give him nothing over 6'0".

I believe everyone here or almost everyone can agree that Austin needs to be downgraded to at least 6'0.5 and more likely 6'0. I wouldn't go as low as downgrading him to under 6'0 on here though.

Stone Cold is an easy 6'1, more likely 6'2. I trained next to him for months when he shot Condemend on the Gold Coast. He would always wear running shoes. I am 5'10 and he towered over me.

John I agree but if he was 6'0 1/4 we wouldn't be able to tell that from 6'0 anyway but we can tell for sure the man is under 6'1 though.

JohnP, it is sometimes fun to mess around and tell people you're shorter than you are when asked. Just take off 2 inches, maybe 3 off your height. I've told people before I was 5'9-5'10 while I am 6'0 messing around and most were like no freakin way. Give it a shot tell some people you're 5'11-6'0 and see what they say since you're really 6'2.

Bill Goldberg is more like 6-1 3/4 to me. He also looked about an inch taller than Austin mostly times in the ring.
If Austin says he is 6-1, then why would he be 6-2? Downgrading your own height like that feels very stupid.

Come on.. the rattlesnake can no way be 6'1.. the guy is bang on 6'2. He is as the same height as goldberg. So if bill goldberg is 6'2.5, Austin should at least be 6'2. LOOK at photos from his biography & wrestling career....

You'd probably think ok 6'2 in footwear then 6'1 barefoot not thinking his footwear gives more than a normal inch of height. At the very very most Austin would be 6'0 1/2 barefoot. My exact guess is 6'0 1/4 right now.

I had another post about Benoit's height but I heard from a guy who lived next to Stone Cold that he is around 5 ft 11 bare feet. The guy who trained me who is now in NWA TNA is bigger than Austin but around 6 ft and 6 ft 2 or so in his boots

I go by my out of bed height like Glenn does. I could still say 5'10" (which I've been on at least 2 occasions in the morning), but I stick with 5'9.5" nowadays, which is what I am EVERY morning (unless I don't sleep the night before). Man, I'll be 30 next month :(.

Danimal, I guess it is likely that you can lose a bit of height with lots of weightlifing, but I don't think I lost any though. I just feel like that late in the day.
