Tommy Chong was often referred to as ‘The Big One’ out of the comedy duo. Compared to Cheech, he was rather big, I must say!

It’s good to see that Tommy has shed some weight; he looks a far healthier size now, so good on him for that!

I don't remember the show too well, but Leo might have had a footwear advantage with boots or something.

My guess:

Peak: 5'8 3/4"
Now: 5'7 1/2"

Sometimes Joe looks well over 5'7", but other times looks under it, so I must assume he's around 5'8" for this estimate.

There is a photo of Chong and joe Rogan on Joe’s Instagram. It appears to be a good photo to judge height although footwear isn’t visible. Joe just edges out Tommy. Joe is listed at 5’7” although the average guess for him is nearer 5’6.5”. Taking into account Chong’s lean, he appears roughly equal height as Joe, about 170cm.

I checked this out because he really does have appearance of quite tall guy from distance but in 70 show there is scene when he stand around with Red and Hyde and he is even little shorter than hyde(Danny Masterson) who is billed by this site with 5'9.5 so I think 5'8.5 is quite accurate.

This is wrong, in that 70s show hes almost the same height as red foreman who is 6'1. Hes definitely 6 foot

I came real close to meeting Tommy Chong. My friend, now deceased, met him on a couple of occasions once in Buffalo and in Toronto. I was told he was a great guy and treated everyone really well. I thought he looked about 5'9 from the movies.

I love these guys. My stoner days are a long time behind me but they were great. I saw them live in clubs around Toronto in the late 70s. I think Tommy might have even been a hair over 5'10" (I'm 5'11.5 and he wasn't a lot shorter than me).

my opinion Glenn looks taller here chong is getting old , plus being high takes a inch away from your frame cause your slouched over relaxed , they both look very high to me and it takes one to know one , I am one
