No way is he over 6'1; and his 6'2.5 claims are ludicrous. He is 6 foot even. Look at him with MC Gainey when he appeared on Fresh Prince. Gainey is listed everywhere as 6'2 & 1/2", and he would have been at his peak back then.

I saw Will Smith on the set of Hitch years ago while I was at work during my lunch break. I stood about 10 feet away from him but the ground was flat and he seemed about 6'1 very close to my own 6'0.5. He could very well just be 6'1 flat.

Editor Rob it depends on how big his sneakers, I've said that 6ft 1-1.5 is probably his range, at the moment I keep him the top of the range as I feel sometimes he does look it, other times he might just look solid 6ft 1 range.

Also in there was Kirk Cameron (from growing pain), michael j. fox (family ties), johnny dep and the list goes on. probably 100 stars in their and Will Smith was listed at 5'11". Take it for what is. I think that the 6'1.5 listing is fairly accurate, although I'd lean more towards 6'1.25 myself. He may very well hit 6'2 in the morning.

I've read his height as being 5'11" and weight 165 pounds in a late 1980's article. This was sometime between 1987 and 1989. He maybe hit 6'0", but I really don't think he's much over that and AGAIN, him being shorter than listed 6'1" Isiah Thomas should be proof enough.

Maybe, but he WAS shorter than Isiah Thomas in the early 1990's (when he was fully grown), so I don't think he ever hit a full 6'1". 6'0" and change for Will.

Because he was always quite gangly in build I believed at one time he was 6'2"-6'3" but when I started to think about it he was always about 3 inches shorter than James Avery and Jeff Goldblum who I think were 6'4.5". And a flat 6'4" Goldblum would mean he was more 6'1" flat. I'm convinced though neither him or Carrey are under 6'1" that's extreme. actually i think there is a good chance that carrey is 6'1.5-6'2 beecuase he was defenintly 1 inch taller than nicholas cage and only 1 inch shorter than 6'2 1/2 samuel l jackson 10 years ago.
With 194cm Liam Neeson in the Deadpool as well look very close too 6'2.
